So, what are you all thinking about the Elena Damon sire bond?. Its crazy right?
sorry to say it but damon does it for me totally :D
he may bite me any day
@DazzleMe you are worong about Elena being the first doppleganger to drink forom a blood bag...If you remember, in Season 2, the episode where Luca and DR. Marting used that spell to go in the Salvatore house to undagger Elijah, Katherine was on her way to get a blood bag out of Damons blood bag stash...
That a good point about elena drinking from Damon triggered the sire..that makes sense...cause thats when it all started, and that was when she started drifting away from Stefan.
@Hybrid84, Katherine did not become a vampire in Mystic Falls and her first drink was not a blood bag. Thats what I meant.
No other doppelgänger has had to drink from a bloodbag as their first drink as a vampire. And we do not know of any vampires first drink to be animal blood either.
No, the blood sharing didn't activate it. it activated when she turned. they found out she had feelings for Damon before she turned, and vampirism magnified her feelings. if her drinking Damons blood activated it, she would have been able to drink from animals and blood bags.
And I agree Nicole, they do need to stay together. You know damn well Stefen wouldnt be able to do it, so Damon shouldnt have too. Team Damon!!!
The only reason she drifted away from Stefen when the whole blood sharing went on was because Stefen got jealous and broke it off.
Totally Stelena all the way! For Elena being sired is just cray - cray! It should have been Stephans blood that turned her because then none of this would have happened! And yes I can see where you guys are coming from when Damons blood made her better and all but. Still I hate to see Elena sired to Damon and when Damon had the chance to break the sire bond why didnt he?!
Imagine if this sire bond started WW3!
Because he does not want to loose Elena, and she does not want to loose him...
The "formula" the witch gave to break the Sire Bond is for him to tell her to forget him, live a happy life without him and then leave.
If there was a way to break the sire bond AND not loose the emotional connection I am sure he would have done it. I wonder if he could just comand her not to obey him anymore - or if that would send her in a feedback loop and make her crazy (two conflicting comands - the sire bond telling her to do what Damon wants, and Damon's comand not to do what he tells her to....
What do you think?
