I think he IS gonna end up like Alaric, and even worst! He has a ring that lets him cheat death & he can contact ghosts. But I think he's gonna end up just like Connor later on this season.
I love how they're giving him a REAL great storyline and how he behaves lately.. so strong. The only thing I'm worried about is that they use that to kill him off in the end of the season. That would be horrible.. and kind of predictable. I would prefer him to be "cured" and get free from that hunter thing SOMEHOW and that someone dies that noone expected to go like Bonnie or Caroline, though I don't want them to die either. :DD
I doubt they'd kill off caroline or bonnie...maybe caroline, but bonnie is essential to the plot due to her being the last witch standing...I have no idea what the writers are going to do with him
I think that if they kill off Jeremy, he will return as a vampire like his sister. It will be pretty pathetic if they kill off the last living member of Elena's family. If this happens, it will be the season cliffhanger (like what they did for Elena at the end of Season Three). Even though the thought of the writers going this route is pretty predictable and Julie Plec always changes her mind, the story of Jeremy's life can always go another way, too. I just hope that they can cure him of this hunter stuff before it gets too crazy. Also, with the next hunter (Vaughn) coming, maybe Prof Shane knows this and he and Bonnie find the cure for Jeremy and bring the new hunter in so that they can find the cure or Prof Shane can resurrect Silas. Jeremy is caught up in this mystery.
I feel that if Jeremy is killed, Elena will be heartbroken over losing the only family she has left. b/c Jeremy was still himself after having that nightmare. Then Stefan comes along and makes it worser by having him kill his 2nd vampire.
Check the episodes list... In 4X13 details, u will find joseph morgan has tweeted Klarolyer scenes will happens which means it's sure tyler, klaus and caroline won't die atleast upto 13th episode. Maybe by the end of season 4, we could expect it.
I will be sad if jeremy dies because he seems greatly improved ever since season 1... :(
Maybe Jeremy is the new key to the cure for vampirism? But if Jeremy dies, there is a chance Elena actually will shut down humanity, and in a worst-case scenario, turn into a ripper. Maybe the start of Season 5 will have Elena as ripper, while Stafan, Damon, Klaus and co. work on a cure, and eventually track her down, attempting to turn her back... Or maybe Elijah still has a role to play?
It is being discussed that there probably isn't a cure for vampirism and it is all for resurrecting Silas/Qetsiya. That the hunter, hunter's tattoo, 12 hybrids, dead council members, a witch, hunter's sword etc are all being set up for a ritual that Prof Shane has put in motion. It could either be the greater evil mentioned by Pastor Young or this ritual may be for saving the world from the greater evil(possibly Silas?)
Jeremy has very few options without a cure. Maybe Bonnie will find something or the Prof knows of a cure, but he is waiting until the tattoo is completed as he seems desperate for it. If there is a possibility of Jeremy dying and coming back to life (eternity ring) as real Jeremy and not Hunter Jeremy, that would be great. Maybe they will kill him without knowing and he comes back normal (yay!) Jeremy has so much potential for a few more episodes, I hope he survives without killing his sister.
Maybe it is the Mayor who will die, the preview shows an emotional scene between Tyler and the Mayor, so possibly she dies and Meredith becomes interim Mayor(?) as she is from a founding family. Or Bonnie's dad becomes a temporary Mayor.
I hope they don't kill Jeremy, but it would be awesome if there is a mighty battle between Jeremy and Elena! He trying to kill her, and she defending her life and not wanting to hurt him.
I think the cure for vampirism is either a hoax just like "The curse of the Sun and the Moon" and never existed. I think Alexander made that up just to get Rebekah to trust him.
If it does exist, I don't think it would be ONLY for Elena... It's supposed to be the "ultimate weapon", that would "destroy all vampires". So I think either all vampires in the world die a true death (and therefore are "cured") or they all revert to humans and live their happy lives until they die of old age.
Since that would make as much sense as the end of Highlander, I believe it's the first option...
What do you think?
