I've been busy a little while and just caught up on some recent TVD episodes, where it was just announced that Bonnie is a decendant of Quetsiyah who lived 2000 years ago. This seems a little too far to trace back a lineage.
Now at first Sheila said that Bonnie's decendants settled into Salem, MA and Emily moved to Mystic Falls, VA after the witch trials (which happened in late 17th century).
Then they said Bonnie was a decendant of Ayanna, who was already in MF in the 10th Century. Though it seems possible that they could just move from MF to Salem and back again, it is pushing it a little.
Then they said Bonnie is also a decendant of Quetsiyah which really pushed me over. Making Bonnie related to 1 witch is okay, but making Bonnie related to practically every witch the show introduces is a lttle much. So now she's related to Emily (17th century), Ayanna (10th century), and Quetsiyah (1st century). I'm sorry but even for a TV show, making Bonnie blood-related to every important witch is just going too farfetched and being lazy.
I'm not trying to hate. I just want to know if anyone agrees or disagrees with my opinion.
