Now, if you haven't watched the Season 4 Finale, DO NOT READ THIS AT ALL. This will be spoiler-heavy. READ A YOUR OWN RISK. Kauy, had your chance, lets begin. First off, the whole Katherine being human thing changes EVERYTHING. For one: hybrids can be made the Petrova doppelganger bloodline is back online, there's a new human Elena in town, things are gonna change. Second, the whole Silas thing was crazy. My heart dropped down to my stomach when I found out Silas and Stefan are doppelgangers! This means maybe Gisssupe was hiding something...Hmmmm. Maybe Gissque knew that Stefan was a doppelganger, and he wanted him to become the new Silas and not become a vampire, ending the Salvatore doppelganger line. It makes since, everyone wanted Elena not to be a vampire.
Elena had to turn Katherine into a human otherwise she would've killed her and Klaus has already come back from New Orleans once when he finds out theres now a human Petrova Doppelganger he could come back again. Also it wont be so easy for Katherine to revert back to being a vampire because for one thing she'd have to find a vampire willing to feed her their blood. I'm looking forward to see how ' The Originals' turns out, it will be interesting to see how they fit it around both shows.
Yeah, I know why Elena did it; I just figured with Katherine's inherent ability to manipulate everyone within a mile of her, she'd just find a vamp she'd never met, make him fall in love with her, and change her-- but hopefully you're right and they keep her human and in the series for awhile.
As far as Klaus, I'm thinking more along the lines of Joseph Morgan's ability to jump between series when he's a titular character on one of them (and, respectively, Nina in hers). The example that keeps popping up is Joss Whedon's Buffy (the Vampire Slayer) and subsequent spin-off Angel, in which there were maybe seven-ish or so cross-over episodes with the headlining characters in the entire five seasons.
But yeah-- very excited to see how the shows play out.
I really hope it doesn't take long for everyone to realize its Silas who came back to Mystic Falls and not Stefan. I mean, could you imagine the turmoil Silas could cause posing as Stefan? I think Bonnie will play a key role in uncovering that delimma. Even though she's dead she still is listed as a season regular and that's not at all surpising since TVD is mainly full of supernatural beings. I could totally see Bonnie functioning as a ghost for the entire season. Elena is supposed to start college in season 5 while Jer and Damon will be roomates..that should be HILARIOUS! As far as Katherine being human again I agree with most of you, I don't think she will be happy at all being human again and I think she will be desperate to turn herself. But I do think once Klaus finds out she's human he will snatch her up and lock her away, if he still wants to make hybrids. If that is the direction they take in Season 5 I think it would work with TVD and TO sets being right next to one another in Atlanta and I don't think the entire focus of TO would be Katherine and her blood anyway so she probably wouldn't be considered a regular...she probably could do a scene or two and be done with it. But who knows....I just know I cant wait!
mentioning Qetsiyah and ghost-Bonnie brings to mind a good question-- are we out of witches on the show now? I mean, obviously we can just bring in a new one and there are always guest-starring witches, but was anyone besides Bonnie good with a spell on the main cast? because I think it's been a long time since the group's gotten along without one, which could also lead to trouble...
My thought is the cure is irrevocably permanent, and by that I mean once taken there is no way for the person who took it to turn immortal again.Qetsia made it for Silas and since Silas made the immortality spell(with her) it's kind of the same predicament Katherine has he could have easily said after taking the cure 'nah, this ain't for me I'd rather stay immortal' and try become immortal again coz he had the knowledge to re-do the spell so Qetsia probably foresaw that and made the cure permanent. I think no vampire could turn Katherine even if they or she volunteered to.
As for Silas the deathwish plot is done with (it was stupid anyway) so my guess is knowing magic he probably wants to find his lover. I have been thinking recently that when Shane said the immortality spell was for him and Qetsia to remain together forever, he said it like Silas wanted to give it to another (meaning it was a potion of some sort like the cure). So if indeed he gave it to his lover , then that lover is as immortal as he is, Qetsia may have tried to kill her but it was too late she couldn't and so the best she could do was fossilize her and try make the cure to kill Silas before he realised his lover wasnt really dead.It would be a great plot and increadibly threatening if they said Silas if he found his immortal lover could procreate and create an entire race of immortals something that really is an abomination. So my thought is his lover is fossilized or immobilized with Qetsia's spell but she can be awakened and that will be Silas' big plan for season 5,it has to be anything less is silly really.
There is so much theory to what will happen, joining the small spoilers. Katherine will continue to be a big bitch, as ever. She should go ask protection Damon (Delena can't be a bed of roses), that is where Silas, in the form of Stefan, should come and try to take Katherine to his side, also disturbing the relationship Delena.
For me Katherine should be the first to discover Silas, then he blackmails her, promising freedom in exchange for Stefan that plan B that I don't the slightest idea. I think the author should continue to bet on Silas use the bodies he wanted, so he wore the body of Elijah (I think Daniel Gillies rocks as much as interpreting Silas Paul Wesley) and Katherine getting pregnant, the child would be Elijah, Silas only used his body (I know this is very scientific fiction ... LOL ...).
But I'll wait anxiously...
I think there's something to the doppleganger storyline; between the Silas & the Petrova dopplegangers. Also Silas may have some fun pretending to be Stefan by causing chaos for our heroes in Mystic Falls while Stefan chills out in a safe at the bottom of the lake.
I guess Jer may be key role of finding real stefan at the bottom of the lake by using his ghost friends (laxi always look after stefan). But i wonder he is still supernatual being that cant use undying ring or not. Bonnie can use spell even in her dead prove - she still can shut the wall in her dead. Every magic have loop hole mean even Silas is immortal, there must have a way that can kill him or if nothing else make him immorbilize and drop in the ocen. :)
I definitely think Jeremy will take a level in badass this season-- I mean, he was dead: that has to make you more something, right? I wonder if the whole Bonnie sacrifice will give him the opportunity to do magic via possession. That would be cool :)
spoilers have stated that Silas!Stefan will be uncovered by "the people who know him best", so I think that Katherine/Damon/Elena have the best shot at figuring the switch. I kind of hope it's Katherine first, because that would be more interesting to see play out in my opinion.
What do you think?
