I just want Elijah to be happy (doesn't matter with or without Hayley) and Klaus to not ruin his happiness (and also start redeeming himself, at least, towards his own family).....i really love that character and sometimes feel sorry that he has to suffer so much to keep his wild brother in line
Elijah and Haley belong together, and he loves her. He has saved her multiple times. He always thinks of his family before himself and he deserves happiness. This Jackson character is up to no good, and I dont like him. Elijah and haley have to be together, and you can tell Haley loves him to. Someone needs to make a move. I dont think it will happen this season maybe next
I love Hayley&Elijah!!! They have so much chemistry!! They completely and totally in love with each other<3 My new OTP
I want them to be together but I hope they don't. Phoebe and Daniel have amazing chemistry but how would you feel if your uncle was in a relationship with your mother since before you were born, kinda weird. I think they will always have feelings for each other but their relationship doesn't go beyond first base.
I dont think its wierd at all. If I was her I would go with him. They are not related at all, Hes related to the baby and not him. Elijah loves for her and he has been there for her
Elijah doesn't love her. He doesn't even know her. Elijah has some sort of fantasy about who he wants Hayley to be - but it has nothing to do with who she actually is. It's a lot like him and Katheirne - he had an idea in his head of who he wanted Katheirne to be from when he met her in 1492 - but that wasn't who Katheirne was and when he realized that he dumped her.
If Elijah did know Hayley than he wouldn't have been surprised when she acted in her own self-interest and helped Sophie dig up Celeste or been surprised when she stabbed Genieveve. I can't think of one instance where Elijah has actually sat down and had an actual conversation with Hayley and gotten to know her - it's a bunch of longing stares. There's just no substance or foundation there at all.

reply- It seems you forgot about what they have been through, throughout the entire season. Elijah and Hayley have explored their feelings and emotions for each other, while they have had difficulty progressing with the many problems in their lives. Elijah has feelings for Hayley and yes you could say that he doesn't love her completely just "yet" he didn't even confess to her. But they have bonded together alot, after elijah was undaggered. Elijah does not have a fantasy or expectation of who he wants Hayley to be. He's selfless to her, and he's demonstrated this alot, like in episode 1x18 ("what I want is for that girl to be happy") Elijah was selfless enough to let Hayley be with her werewolf family even though he's promised to protect her when she'll be seperated from him. Also Hayley is somone who he cares deeply for. He even confessed to Klaus that he loved her unlike anyone he's ever loved in the last episode ("I let her in") he even broke down into actually crying that she's dead. So how can could say that Elijah doesn't love her, that its just a "blind crush". On top of that their chemistry has been the influence that has helped them to know each other

reply- Rewatch episode 1x11 Elijah was surprised that Hayley has betrayed him by helping Sophie dig up Celeste but what does that have to do with the circumstances of their relationship, Elijah does infact feel great emotion for the ones he has greatly loved. Celeste was an "old flame" but she was presumed dead so Elijah had to move on which hurt him. ("Yes the rare love quote and how this applies to elijah and hayley bla bla bla") but even as he was still angry with Hayley's betrayal she taught Elijah the values of letting go and adapt to the tendencies of moving on. Hayley-("if i want something I take it, I won't choose the dead over the living so why are you?") she has shown Elijah her personality, and expresses how she can feel which Elijah can contemplate with, they've argued once about his unfair treatment to the werewolves of the bayou but he did as she wished. Everytime they bond together they can understand one another, they're improving, and no it's NOT FORCED CHEMISTRY. They have qualities of a sucessful relationship (if the writers don't screw them up).
It is forced for me personally. Elijah met her for about in hour in the back-door pilot. He had a nap in a coffin all summer and he came back in 1x06/7 and seemed to be instanlly into her for no apparent reason. For me that's forced. It's not gradual and there was no build-up at all.
Nor do I recall any scenes where Elijah & Hayley actually sat down and talked and actually got to know each other.
^of course he was attracted to her, what's not to adore? attraction that's the main influence between people who feel for each other, think of stefan and elena yes yes they're supposed to be together but seriously they've started their First kiss in the second episode of all the episodes that they can develope together really? the second episode now THAT'S FORCED. Yes relationships can start in many different ways but you think that this ship is forced because all their chemistry build up is just blind romance, are you implying that Elijah just immediately fell for Hayley because she's beautiful? go ahead blame the attraction you in romance terms you can't help who you fall in love with. They didn't even rush their relationship for crying out loud, they've talked to each other to understand one another (even after the first episde), they've argued to one another 1x11, 1x17; they've protected/helped each other 1x06, 1x08, 1x13 and they've bonded together (not to mention those almost kisses). BTW (Don't even reply back about the whole Unconventional it is Gross in-love with brothers baby mama point) Some people can think it's incestuous and for some it's not, but it's "romance" you can't help who you fall in love with. So They have built up their chemistry so many times just not based on your expectation and other people's expectation of a ship.
Yeah, but Klaus was already shown to be attracted to Hayley sexaully - hence he slept with her. Even when Klaus met Hayley in 4x03 he mentioned to Tyler that she was georgous and he also started she was "quite fetching".
Daniel has way more chemsity with Nina than he does PT. He and PT have negative chemsity for me (yes I know chemsity is subjective but for me they dont' have any).
I don't think that Hayley is actually Elijah's type though. I think he was only interested in her because she was pregnant by Klaus. I think Elijah's type is someone like Celeste or Katheirne - Hayley doesn't fall into that catgeory.
Stefan was immediatly into Elena because a) she looked like Katherine b) their doppelganger natures drawing them together. I've never been a fan of the Stefan/Elena realtionship though and I've always thought it was creepy that Stefan stalked Elena for three months before meeting her (just as I think it's eqaully creepy that Elijah was stalking Hayley in the bayou). I've always had issues with Stefan not being upfront with Elena about his past until mid-Season 2 when she found out about it via Jonathan Gilbert's journal and I've always had a problem with the fact that Stefan did not tell Elena that she looked like Katherine before she slept with her.
