Noooooo. I loved him. He was hilarious.
No. Silas needs to come back and wreak more havoc and finish what he wanted to accomplish: destroy Qetsiyah, destroy the Other Side and find peace with Amara.
Well Silas didn't "show-up" at Bonnie's doorstep as it were. So I think Silas may have had just enough of a window when the "otherside" transfered to Bonnie to get himself to "rest". But, there is a lot of the season left to go, so just about anything can happen still.
One thing that always makes me wonder, now that we are starting to talk about ALL of the ramifications from either the otherside being switched (onto an object which essentially is an object ON the otherside), the fact that it was switched and possibly--momentarily, didn't exist (I think Silas/Tessa will answer our question as to whether that happened or not as I think Silas happened to "slip through" the crack and moved on, just as did Amara--though she was human). If this is true we may get Tess back for awhile later on, complaining about the fact Silas isn't around or vice-versa...
Another issue that may be very important. Jeremy right now is a a supernatural creature... With what has happened who knows just exactky what will happen to Jeremy, after all he WAS a hunter FOR Silas, and he is now dead. Has the spell run it's course, what will happen to jeremy if anything?
Also, as another side-note that many may have forgotten during Yesterday's pivotal show: Bonnie may now be touchable and also "the otherside's" anchor. But, we must remember that long ago Jeremy was brought back to life, "with consequences". We still don't know if we understand just what that means. BUT, if the otherside disappears completely, since Jeremy has a foot partially into it...what happens to him?
Anway, just a few ideas on the matter.
Amara was the anchor when Silas died, she felt his death, he passed through her.
Also, I don't think the Other Side stopped existing at any point. Amara was the anchor up until Bonnie became the anchor, there was no in-between
What do you think?
