This is an established play-by-email RPG set in the Vampire Diaries world with a few twists. We've been running for over three years now and we hope to continue for many more. Our players are committed to quality writing and working together to make this a fun and inviting community atmosphere. We've been moving a bit slower than we'd like lately, but we're looking to pick up the pace so applicants need to be able to commit to responding to tags within 3 days for all characters.

More About the Game: We picked up our story after the events of Founder's Day. All season one events are canon with a few minor exceptions. We offer a structured plot framework that allows for a great deal of flexibility for subplotting and character development as we work our way through the storylines. Some events and scenes may be loosely scripted for dramatic effect or specific plot development, but for the most part it’s up to the players to collaborate to create a great story.
Available Characters We are currently accepting auditions for Elena Gilbert, Tyler Lockwood, and Jenna Sommers. We are also considering introducing Faith Lehane (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Sam and Dean Winchester (from Supernatural). While this is not a true cross-over game, these characters fit into our "reimagined" Vampire Diaries world. Original characters may be considered after all canons are filled, but concepts must fit within the world the moderators have envisioned. We do not plan to add any more characters with magical abilities.
Before you apply: We are seeking seasoned role players only. All posts should be thoughtful, stay true to character, and move the storyline forward. In other words, this is not group that will accept one paragraph, hastily written posts. Spelling and grammar are important and we strive for high quality, creative writing and character development. The group is rated Mature for occasional violence, sexually explicit situations, and adult language, but the emphasis will be on quality writing and great characterization.
If this sounds like a game you're interested in, please send an email to the moderators at email@example.com and tell us a little about yourself and your roleplay experience. While we recognize and embrace different writing styles and personalities, we want to make sure that all players are a good fit for the style of game we've created. Before you request a character, we ask that you send a writing sample or links to RPGs with open archives so we can get a sense of your writing/gaming style. We hope to hear from you!
