I received The Vampire Diairies Seasons 1-4 on dvd for Christmas.  I'm only about halfway through Season 2 at the present time and I must say that I am really enjoying the series so far.  I'm sure this won't surprise anyone, but my favorite character is Damon Salvatore.  As ruthless as he is, it's hard not to root for the guy.

While watching Season 1 and now being halfway through Season 2, I've found myself paying a lot of attention to Damon's aka Ian Somerhalder's hair.  While this might be a ridiculous question, I'll ask it anyway.  Does anyone know if Ian wears a wig or possibly a partial wig?  There has been a number of scenes where Damon's hair simply looks fake.  My sister has been watching the series with me and she said she'd bet money that Ian wears a wig.
