Sorry but TVD has issues I do not want to see on TO. TO is doing great without the need for any crossover.
The Original vampires are gone. TVD's major issue is going to be more evident. The biggest issue is the lack of a threat. You no longer feel the cast of MF is in any real danger. Augustine? Yeah the MF crew is really afraid of Augustine vampires.
Oh yeah. Stop hijacking TO threads for TVD.
Well, maybe less of a limit on the crossovers just more symmetry, I feel...
Like for example in the last episode of TVD I watched with Klaus returning to TVD to indulge in some "outdoor relations" with Caroline. It seemed like Klaus traveled a bit far for a slice of her "apple pie". Especially since his turf is in a bit of turmoil...how does one squeeze in a vacation to mystic falls? Are the cities closer than I thought or something??
Furthermore, I found it hard to swallow the whole "Tyler's back and the Original family dropped him off!" situation. Especially with the Caroline-Tyler break up scene. I was able to fully identify with the anger, rage, and lust for vengeance Tyler was expressing. (Like standing ovation for that kid's acting) Basically, I know that when your angry like that it doesn't just "go away". Where was the outlet? Why is he all smiles now??
Personally, I would prefer Tyler back on TO being like a vigilante and going straight Captain Ahab. Just ruining lives out of his need to avenge all he lost. He could kill characters we grow fond of and ruin various plans/events outta spite. Basically mixing the senseless dbaggy-ness of Damon Salvatore with the rage-motivated-efficiency of Connor Jordan (ex-member of the Brotherhood of The Five) to make the ultimate villian.
Well, I can take comfort in knowing that he will probably still become a vigilante. Just wait til Tyler realizes not only did Klaus kill his mom, pack, and have him running for my life...but he smashed my girl. Can you say straw that broke the camel's back?
Everyone enjoys a little cross over. If it makes sense. Currently tvd can not hold an interesting story line. Silas arc should have been epic, but fizzled hard. In the future they could embrace a story line that cross both TO and TVD. Right now TVD and TO are a hard fit. TO just saved the city. TVD is making school plans.

The Silas storyline was doomed from the beginning. They could summarize it in a few episodes and make it anticlimactic or explain it using numerous episodes and the storyline would have felt dragged out. Most likely losing our interest in the process. So, few episodes was the choice...cause at least they could pick another topic.
What do you think?
