Come on people we have been waiting like forever for a kiss. Yet Elijah never took long for him to kiss Celeste, but it's taking a century for him to kiss her!

Did you pass English lit at school/college/Uni? Okay so removing connotations of anything TVD from 'romuliet' as a standalone piece of literature it is duh a tragedy and why? BeCAUSE THEY ARE DESTINED TO DIE. which I think I said before. No stamps of approval have been made, the folks I see writing here are talking about possibilities, the fact that it could happen regardless of what they are and that the only person deciding who is right and wrong is you. A role to which you are not qualified. Your opinion on the relationship is yours, ours is ours. Get over it. Join in the debate with healthy and substantiated arguments or start a thread that says I wanna start fights about ships, Delena, Elena, Damon and well everything else I've seen you hate on over multiple threads. Which is quite a few so far.
TanithRea wrote: It's nothing like leaving a baby unattended…. You cannot reduce the story of Romeo and Juliet to abandoning a baby it's just not in the same ball park
It is very much like leaving a baby unattended! Since, the parent who leaves the baby is pursuing love in a manner that might put those “dear” to them in jeopardy. If Romeo and/or Juliet really held their family “dear” they would have decided against their relationship. They understood it might aggravate circumstances yet they proceeded... Selfish…Where is the abandonment? If you can tell me where the direct link to that thought is that would be precious as you try to back up your personal (delirious) opinions with more rabid rantings. Did you need the special guide to read the play or did someone write it down for you? Maybe you've only watched the Baz Lhurman film, shame. It is pointless explaining a complicated plot and the subcontext as you are obviously incapable of understanding the underlying stories, themes, symbolism and oh yeah facts. Their families were fighting for nothing, they were hating for nothing the only way to break the cycle was for fate to intercede and took what they both valued. It wasn't Romeo or Juliet who risked the families - the families inability to get over themselves doomed their kids.
TanithRea wrote: DESTINED TO LOVE EACH OTHER AND DIE
I believe in destiny but I also believe in making sound decisions to reach sound outcomes. Where I come from, being a martyr for love could very well leave you dead or in prison. Either way, it’s foolish on the couple's part.I feel sorry for where you live. Now if I could sound out the difficult words for you I would, read slowly if you need to. THEY DIDN'T HAVE A CHOICE - THEY WERE DOOMED TO DIE BY FATE. In case you missed that, they were not able to choose so their decisions were undermined by destiny - they would end up intertwined and be each other's end. All because their families couldn't accept that they didn't hate each other.

Last I checked Dr. King and Coretta never caused anyone to die for their love…hahaha. Try again.OMG do you have like contacts or something cause I know I'm writing English and yet you seem to be in a world of your own. It wasn't about their love, wow I gotta be really simple with this. The point of that scentence was these were people who stood against the accepted the mass that either oppressed or opposed them. They were the ripples in time that became tidal waves. They were the romuliets trying to get their families/countries/governments/peers to change and in so many historical cases that meant they paid a price or those who joined them did. I have to stop myself from giggling at just how much you missed the boat on that response.
TanithRea wrote: they fall for each other before they know each other's identities
Are you referring to “lust” or a “one night stand” or "hitting it and quitting it"? Love isn’t that fast.I can only imagine what you consider love is if you can reduce Romeo and Juliet to a 'one night stand' or 'lust'. Sad that you don't believe in love at first sight and by that I'll make it clear that that does not mean sex right away but that you can have an instant connection with someone. Chemistry.(I know your having issues grasping that concept on other comments above but try hard) new research subjests that actually falling in love takes about a fifth of a second. (Syracuse university). If you actually read the lines they fall for each other before they know he is a montage and she is a capulet. Just a boy and a girl. They fall for each other and kiss. Then they are trying to understand how can all they have been raised to believe is true if there can be love like this with one who should be their enemy. Sorry that might have confused you, you might need to skip to the next quote.
TanithRea wrote: before they know that they should be enemies
Romeo knew about the blood feud, he fought in it. Cut it out, please!Yes he did. He only fights to stop others fighting so he's a passive fighter a conscientious objecter if you like. Juliet could have been anyone at the party but it's fate that pulls them together.
TanithRea wrote: For most it has nothing to do with what their family think first
Not thinking of your family is selfish. Especially if it becomes long term and said love interest becomes part of your family, it would help to find a significant other who is compatible with your family, correct? For most - you actually quote the part you failed to read. The point I made was their love wasn't about what the families thought because they didn't know about it till they were dead. Now you on the other hand are talking about something else, if you are with someone long term as part of a 'healthy' relationship then being with you and your friends and family is part and parcel if that doesn't work then ultimately it will end. Finding your love isn't making the shoe fit it's trying some select pairs and if they don't give you blisters or break at the heel then you are on a possible winner. I'm sure you'll have a dig at the shoe analogy as you will fail to grasp it so carry on.
TanithRea wrote: Have you sought your families permission or approval of every person you've had feeling or a crush on? Would you be able to simply turn that off if they said no?
Now that is even not on the same scale and you know it….Never has a relationship of mine ever put my family’s lives in danger, so stop that now rofl. If they turned someone down it was for superficial reasons: she’s annoying, you can do better, that stuff. Never a reason like if "she steps foot in this house I will kill her".>/div> I like who I like, I make friends with those I share ideas, interests and some are very different but inspire. They don't put their families in direct danger the risk is heightened tensions but there is no direct threat. Again I say it as somehow you fail to grasp it so for a third time DESTINED TO BE TOGETHER AND DIE. Not about their choices they do the best with the cards they are dealt not the other way around.
P.S. I'd suggest a group brainstorming session between the two of you, before you respond. I don't feel convinced even in the slightest by either of your arguments.
Who's trying to convince you, I commented on an interesting post I have no interest in convincing anyone. I appreciate others comments and welcome interesting and rational ideas or opinions as they inspire others to write. Then there are cases like this where it's not about intellect or healthy debate. I have also sent your lovely comment regarding my name and well bullies are made up of a lack of imagination and can't really get past the stage of being in high school which by your grasp of Shakespeare would seem pretty accurate.
I will now ignore your comments and posts on any thread as it is pointless trying to have a decent adult conversation with a person who is simply on here to bully, name call and start fights. I recommend others do the same as trying to have any sort of logical discussion with yourself is like trying to build a snowman in hell. Maybe you should invest in going back to college or night school and brush up on English, literature or your social skills.
To each their own opinion. Share and respect the ideas expressed on the threads and they will do the same for you.As a pair I don't care for them. When Hayley first appeared it seemed that she was operating from the desire to find her family - Elijah can't really give her more family. He could give her familial support, but I do think eventually there'd be an element of what he couldn't give.
We've also seen a werewolf/vampire relationship and how it didn't work out. He's not aging and she may or may not be able to become a hybrid, not to mention that wolves and vampires are centuries-old enemies. Klaus was a big factor in the issues Tyler and Caroline had, so I'd think it could be the same here. I can't quite see him standing idly by if Elijah and Hayley became a happy family - he could quite easily be a similar impediment. He once expressed the idea that his child could grow up to call Elijah 'father' and we've seen Elijah leave a relationship for family at least once.
One idea I've read (in fanfic) is that Elijah shows concern for her and she's in a fairly vulnerable position, and so it's kind of natural that she would gravitate towards him - she's pregnant, she's around people whose species are her enemy and she wants family.
Personally I'd rather see Hayley and Klaus form some sort of relationship since it's their child that has brought them under the same roof. For two people who are soon to be parents, I think they could stand to spend more time together.

Here is the actual Julie Plec interview, she doesn't actually say if Jackson is only slicking around for a few weeks, she just mentions that it will be a couple of weeks until he is man not wolf again, so its still anyone's game. But I would guess they will use Jackson as a tool to incite Elijah's possessiveness and move Haylijah along, but who knows?
"It's a full moon in this particular episode, and there won't be another full moon for a few more episodes, so this is our first taste of the crescent wolves," Plec says. "With luck and schedules and all those things in our favor, we'll be able to have a nice good story with them."
Elijah? Not so crazy about the idea of Hayley breaking the werewolf curse if it means Jackson sticking around.
"I don't think he's going to be very happy about it. Like I said, we've got another few episodes before we return to the werewolf world, but just this idea of her attention falling towards these people and her sense of family unity and family bond drawing her towards them and away from the Originals is a lot for Elijah to handle," Plec explains. "And then once, ultimately, if he's ever able to stand face to face with Jackson, he might be like, ‘Wait a second, who's this guy? I'm not so sure I like this guy.'"

Well, I wasn't going to do this....but this is wayyyy to good to pass up! I am WWRA and there will be a new order...An uprising if you will. You vamp-lovers either join it or be crushed by this change. The immortal leech race will fall. It matters not to me, how many leech lovers I must go through to usher in the Werewolf Revolution!
173.206.72.16: Now, sadistic that is a word I've yet to be called. =) I appreciate it and will add it to my resume! To you I must say I am deeply disappointed in you. You seemed like promising prey...Yet, you give up when Tanith-Diarrhea threw in her dainty little towel. You might want to invest in a spine and a Netflix subscription to catch up on TVD & TO. You are behind! "who has the power now, friend"....not you apparently Tanith calls the shots friend, BAHAHAHAHA.
TanithRea: Since your the brains of this operation, I'd suggest more research on your part. You can't bring up Romeo and Juliet and then put your tail between your legs when asked if you approve of it. Hopefully, there is a two-for-one deal on backbones. Get one for your side-kick, also.
"I will now ignore your comments and posts on any thread as it is pointless"- Hiding from me and the revolution is for the best, in your case. ;)
Hayley deserves a good werewolf man in her life! Elijah could never give her what she needs. Klaus is a hybrid but he clings harder to his vampire side, so neither can he. If not Hayley & Jackson...another werewolf man needs to step up and take her hand.
HOWWWWWWWWWLLLLLL,
-WWRA
Before trying to bring Hayley and Elijah together i feel writers should focus to make Hayley and Klaus's relationship better......if they are really concerned about their child and want a happy life for her than they should try to build a friendship sort of relationship at least......wouldn't it be odd for the child to see her mother and uncle together and her father and mother always fighting or her mother just scowling at her father?
Hayley's character needs some development.....i don't get her at all....her expressions irritates me alot
Elijah and haley belong together. He is the one that has been there for her, and protected her. She knows nothing about Jackson. And Klause and Haley can talk but don't make a triangle with her and the brothers that was tried with the Vampire Diaries and The Originals is different. And Jackson is up to no good. Elijah needs to tell her how he feels, he loves her and I think she loves him to. Jackson needs to go.
