For some reason I can't 'quote'
Team Selena said: I think klaus could use to be human for a bit, it would knock him off his high horse a bit.
RESPONSE:
What human history hav u been watching? No one is more able to climb up on a high horse and claim moral superiority yet not be able to live up to it nor recognize their self righteous bullshit as well as a human can. At least the vampires in this universe realize what they are doing isn't right but it's a means to survival while humans (even in the VD/TO universe). can't seem to see that. Look how 'humane' and humble they each act when finding out that someone is a vampire or wolf. The first thing they do is go for the deadly weapons even though they hav known these people their whole lives and that didn't really choose to b one, even if it is their own children just because they read in a stupid old diary of a white supremacist confederate southerner rich asshole (if there is one thing I'm f-ing suck as hell of hearing about is these damn 'founding families'. The elitist bullshit is really too much. I'm not sure why on earth the decendent so still get to run things 150 years later. We even know they weren't even founders, Elijah tells us it had been colonized way before. My family has been stealing land and 'colonizing' America since at least 1720 but I don't think that gives me any more right to dictate anything from the Mexican who moved here last week.). As soon as they hear vampire they close their mind and right off climb onto their high horse and 'do what is right' even if it is kill their own daughter (even after her daughter saved her life and has been doing what really is right all along.
'Humanity' wont do a damn bit of good, if anything the moral high ground all these humans are walking on off their high horse is dangerously below sea level but but undying self righteousness blinds them from realizing it. Human, vampire, wolf, witch, whomever has the power is going to do what they want regardless if they are correct in thinking they are right or not, if anything it seems at least the vamps like Damen and Catherine are more honest with themselves and others about their true motives. In the real world and theirs an overwhelming amount of time there really is nothing simple as 'good' and 'evil', no one is 'supposed' to do anything except survive.
