That was my initial thought earlier but since she is being concieved as a supernatural entity it's possible there are different rules especially regarding vampirism since it's against nature while neither lychanthrophy or witchcraft is. For the sake of her character being this new, different species I still fall back on my latest theory that she will be technically a witch but with hybrid charactersitics apart from agelessness that may or may not be activated automatically during her first death which would sort out the aging problem without time jumps or introducing weird rules like rapid aging until a certain point in her life. If it works like that and she activates her dormant vampirism it's possible she will lose her magic but not necessarily any inherent special abilities she will have due to her own kind.
She definitely will have new rules used on her...
She is a tribrid (or hybrid with three components, it doesn't matter really what you call her). Klaus said it himself and they had confirmed it. She is indeed (plus if you remember, there WAS a reason the witches wanted to kill her and to then bind her spirit to the place of the New Orlean's ancestral witches--which means no matter what she IS indeed a witch or else they wouldn't have even bothered to do this) a witch, a vampire (though we don't know if she is an original or not), and also a werewolf of royal bloodline--a princess. So she is very special. Since the witches wanted her remains entered into the ancestral grave-site for power, we can also assume that she is very powerful--at least as much as her mother...if not more.
Anyway, the interesting part will be these issues:
One, how fast will she age and how fast will she make it back to the show again. It seems a COMPLETE waste to never again have her on the show--what was the point of EVER having her then other than to lure Klaus to New Orleans and to start a war there. pretty stupid. Even I will stop watching the show if we get four seasons in and she has yet to reappear, unless we have some truly fantastic characters, baddies, and story-writing... Either she'll grow quicker than normal (more than likely she is also smarter than normal, to make up for this growth spurt) OR the show will take a fifteen year or more hiatus into the future (which to be honest, could be very interesting--bringing a little sci-fi into the show).
Two, how exactly IS her vampiric side working. We know it is healing her among other things. But she IS living. From what we saw on TVD season's finale, when spirit magic was reversed--when it came to vampirism--they again, died. BUT, in Hope's case she is alive. So as far as we know it may be perfectly possible to be fully alive AND also a vampire--it is just that know one EVER had a way to create a living vampire. But, this creates problems about her aging. Will she keep aging, and they'll need to find a magical means to stop it, i.e. immortality...or will she truly need to die. BUT, if that happens will she lose her witchcraft?
Lastly, we have her werewolf side. She has yet to kill anyone. So it hasn't manifested--like Klaus in his old days. We don't know what will happen when she does trigger it, what will happen to her vampiric side, IF she is still alive, and also her witch side as well. This is all new territory. how can you NOT put this story into the show. That is why I'm sure they will once she is old enough to fight some of her own fights--or possibly fight her own fights without help at all--a TRUE Original... Hopefully, Rebekah teaches her the fighting side of things since she will be targeted her whole life once she goes back to her father and mother (maybe the actor that plays Rebekah will also join the gang again by this point--we can hope). I really hope through all of this however that Hope doesn't lose her witch side, it makes her extremely unique to have all three sides--and VERY boring to once again have just another hybrid (especially IF she isn't like her father and NOT an Original vampire...).
Since the show is named The Originals, I'll assume they'll make the right choice and make Hope a TRUE living, Original vampire--something that confounds and mystifies even the mother that created the rest of her children. I t would be great for Esther to have no idea how this child can be like she is. The witches punished her for her creation, but this baby, Hope, may be a sign from Nature itself that says that it actually DOESN'T blame Esther, or Klaus. They may indeed be a cursed species, but there is a small dim light of hope in each one...and if they take hold of it, great things can happen ( a lesson learned from the Mystic Falls gang). Maybe Esther will realize at some-point that she has indeed been the one in the wrong and should have stood with her children this entire time and endured...
Indeed, they put an awful lot of hope into hope lol only to let her go and I mean there's no point having her on the show until she's at least 10-11, maybe a teenager. Honestly, a time jump might be feasible after season 2 especially if TVD is over by then so this spin-off doesn't need to rely on potential character swaps or something similar.
She is a tribrid,a mix of three species.
When she kills her werewolf gene will be triggered, but being quarter vampire she will probably be able to control the transformation.Maybe the gene is already triggered since Hayley killed during her pregnancy.
Her witch powers will more likely come later in life.
And her inmortality around 16,17,18
Tyler used Hope's blood to turn Dwayne into a Hybrid. Only a Vampire-Werewolf Hybrid could do that and it has already been confirmed that she is not undead but very much alive and also part witch since Elijah used her blood to undo Papa Tunde's spell that held Rebekah. Therefore she is definitely a Tribrid. I can see her aging supernaturally quick to maturity and then stopping, she will also most probably exhibit new powers perhaps being able to compel Witches or possibly even turn Witches into Vampires that retain their magic. I agree that it would be a waste to have the whole first season based on Hope and then to never see her again, that would be dumb imo.

It's been confirmed by writers that she will age normally there will be no superfast aging. But yes it would be dumb to build up this child and never see her again so I do think they plan on bringing her back whether it's next season, the season after or four seasons down the line I do think they plan on bringing her back and hopefully will also appear in guest stints until then.
What Hope is though is a Hybrid but it's hard to follow in a way.
Hope is a quarter witch which is well known by now.
Hope doesn't have vampirism but she does have constant vampire blood in her stystem due to her father. This lets her heals herself and if she dies in any circumstance she will be revived as a vampire most likely losing her magic abilities due to not being able to be a vampire and witch at the same time.
Hope has the werewolf gene this part of her is probably the largest part of her since her parents both have the werewolf gene as well. This won't be activated unless she kills someone.

That sounds like a lot of mere speculation on your part number 94, where as I was making predictions. Have you got proof that Hope will be aging normally because I haven't seen that anywhere? As for Hope not having Vampirism or an active Werewolf side tell that to that dead Hybrid Dwayne whom she sired or even her mother Hayley whom she also sired. Tell me how a child with no active Werewolf side or Vampirism can turn Werewolves into Hybrids. Can you answer me that?
Not speculation fact. And yes in fact I do :)
Michael Narducci @MichaelNarducci Follow @KlausIWantYou No, baby will age normal but has vamp blood in her system. Will heal fast and if she dies will become a vamp. Because magic.

Is this proof enough for you ;)
It is thank you. :-) Although that makes no sense whatsoever, how can someone who isn't a Vampire already turn someone into a Vampire...you see where I am coming from?
