Imagine if they took the cure and all the vampirism in the originals will go away?
Imagine if they took the cure and all the vampirism in the originals will go away?
I know right that would be cool.
They would all die. Remember what happened to Katherine back in TVD season 5. She was 500 and she got injected with the cure and after a couple weeks she lost her teeth, her hearing deafened and her hair turned white. Imagine what would happen to the originals who are 1000 years old. They would die in weeks.
‘KUL0018’ That only happens if the Cure is taken out of their bodies. Damon now has the Cure in him and will have it for his entire human life (another 40-50 years) without dying because of it.
If the Mikaelsons all take the Cure, all of them will die except the one who takes it last because everyone will be cured of vampirism and will have the Cure takes out (which will kill them) without the last one who will just be cured.
I would think Rebekah would be the one to do it, since she wanted to take it in S4 of TVD. I would be fine with any of them taking it. Though it may be a death sentence for Klaus, if he were made human. I also wonder if Hope could figure out a way to make it?
‘Lybrah’ Hope is, for all intents and purposes, a human. Not a vampire. The Cure, if it works on her at all, may bind her vampire heritage so that her blood cannot heal her or turn humans into vampires and Hybrids. But it cannot affect her as it does actual vampires unless she turns into a vampire beforehand.
Rebekah would want it the most. She always wanted to be free of her vampirism. That was also seen in Season 2 of ‘The Originals’ when she was out in a witch’s body and actually ended up preferring to be in it than in her vampire body.
Kol may only want the Cure so he can be a witch again and practice witchcraft as he did 1000 years ago. Klaus would not want the Cure at all as it would mean going back to being a werewolf under the curse that has to transform on every full moon. Plus he revels in his immortality and his vampirism.
Elijah would take it because he would far prefer being happy for another 50 years or so as a human, truly free of his obligations to his siblings than to be slavishly chained to their fate for the rest of time.
^ not sure for Elijah
with the devotion he has for his family, he prefers to be strong to save/protect them, becoming human would be a disadvantage for him because he will not have the strength to help his family
‘EleanaOriginal’ Elijah has been aware that his devotion to his family is an non-desirable illness rather than a healthy trait of his character for some time now. It is a disease and the Cure is... well, the cure.
^I don't agree
Yes, his devotion is like a disease but I doubt that it disappears if he takes the cure, the vampirism accentuates the personality, Elijah had to be a protector towards his family, become vampire this protective side became an illness
That's why I think that if he takes the cure his devotion will always be present, maybe less strong but always present
In S4 of TVD, he doesn't understand why Bex wants the cure, he also had the opportunity to take it but didn't do it
The only time he thinks of taking a cure is in the S5.E3 of TO but the circumstances are different
‘EleanaOriginal’ Before becoming a vampire, Elijah wasn’t unhealthily devoted to his family. He still loved them just as much and was still committed to them but after turning into a vampire, it came to a point where he would want to leave his family but will find himself unable to.
I agree that Elijah always had his devotion. But it only became unhealthy because of his vampirism and the things that happened after his transition into a vampire. The toxic aspect of his devotion to his family isn’t a product of his personality. No way. It is vampirism and follow-up factors that made him that way.
Kol already has an ending, with Davina. In BTS for the season finale, Rebekah has an emotional scene with Klaus and Elijah, and then she turns and leaves. I don't think anyone will die, but I'm not sure. Elijah will either die or end up with Antoinette imo. I don't think Klaroline will indeed happen. I think Plec is playing a trick on us. Maybe Klaus dies. It's just Legacies is happening as well, and there has to be a reason Hope goes back other than wanting to moderate her powers. At the same time, we won't see anyone at least from TO, I doubt anyone will return to guest. As of Rebekah, I'm really interested and intrigued. Either it's going to be boring and predictable af and she ends up with Marcel or she becomes human.
