‘EleanaOriginal’ Before becoming a vampire, Elijah wasn’t unhealthily devoted to his family. He still loved them just as much and was still committed to them but after turning into a vampire, it came to a point where he would want to leave his family but will find himself unable to.
I agree that Elijah always had his devotion. But it only became unhealthy because of his vampirism and the things that happened after his transition into a vampire. The toxic aspect of his devotion to his family isn’t a product of his personality. No way. It is vampirism and follow-up factors that made him that way.
Kol already has an ending, with Davina. In BTS for the season finale, Rebekah has an emotional scene with Klaus and Elijah, and then she turns and leaves. I don't think anyone will die, but I'm not sure. Elijah will either die or end up with Antoinette imo. I don't think Klaroline will indeed happen. I think Plec is playing a trick on us. Maybe Klaus dies. It's just Legacies is happening as well, and there has to be a reason Hope goes back other than wanting to moderate her powers. At the same time, we won't see anyone at least from TO, I doubt anyone will return to guest. As of Rebekah, I'm really interested and intrigued. Either it's going to be boring and predictable af and she ends up with Marcel or she becomes human.
^ Yup. And I saw an interview awhile ago where Joseph said that he thinks people will be disappointed with the ending not being happy or whatever. That's why I said that I feel like Klaus and/or Elijah will die. None of the actors want to continue this universe pretty much so I would think there would be some deaths or viable reasoning for why they won't be a part of Hope's story moving forward. Bex is my favorite and I would love for her to have a fulfilling ending especially considering what's been done with her character all of these seasons. I would've liked to see an actual journey of her finding herself. But at the very least I really hope that her grand ending isn't Marcel. Definitely forced, boring and predictable af as you said smh.
not even weeks days #saveElijah
‘TheProfessional94’ Multiple cast members including Joseph have said most of the fans will be happy with how the show is wrapped up. I don’t think we should be making such judgements yet.
^ About the interview I was talking about as far as the Klaroline ending not the show as a whole. We were covering multiple things in the conversation so my response probably wasn't completely organized.
‘TheProfessional94’ I don’t think they were just talking about ‘Klaroline’ in the interview I referred to. They said the ending will have a feeling of peace, happiness and contentment as well as a lot of tragedy and sadness.
^ I don't know which interview you've seen but I took your reply as a response to me mentioning an interview that I've seen. That interview was only about Klaroline because I was responding to the other commentor about the ship not happening like their fans want it to happen. I never said anything about the actors talking about the show's ending.

You are wrong about the whole cure concept. As soon as Katherine had it in her you can she she starts aging and if you don't believe me watch episode 1 of season 5 cause Silas doesn't take the cure out of her until like episode 9 or ten.
Pretty sure they'll randomly find another cure. A page from Esther's memoirs they had never seen before or something, lol.
