<p>So we know that Hope can create hybrids like her father could, but what I don’t understand is why do they need to drink her blood to complete their transition. Klaus’ hybrids needed to drink the blood of the doppelgänger to complete the transition which makes sense (as vampires need to drink human blood to complete their transition so makes sense for them to drink HUMAN doppelgänger blood to complete the transition). But Hope’s blood isn’t human as she said to Landon: “the blood that runs through my veins ISN’T HUMAN”
So hope’s blood isn’t human so why in the world do they need to drink hopes blood to complete the transition it doesn’t make sense.
I cannot understand it, if somebody gets it can you please explain it to me.</p>

The reason why klaus needed Elena's blood to make hybrids is because of the curse his mother placed on him. Esther made it so that he needed the blood of the doppelganger to complete the hybrids transition knowing that in order to create them elena would have to die, she used it as a fail safe. If he had not been cursed then his blood would be used to complete the transition just as Hope's is
