<p>Rewatching Vampire Diaries and it is at the part where Katherine had the cure sucked out of her and her body dies but just before that she puts her spirit into Elena. In the scene right before this, Matt asked Bonnie if she’d “feel Katherine’s death or whatever.” And Bonnie said since Katherine was a doppleganger and a traveller that she would. Then in the next scene when Katherine puts herself inside Elena and everyone else thinks she is dead how did they not realize something was off? They already established she would pass through Bonnie and not to mention just before she died her heart stopped for a minute and Bonnie saw her spirit until Katherine forced herself back into her own dying body before taking over Elena. So why didn’t they realize something was wrong? Is this a hole in the Julie Plec’s logic or just the character’s lack of common sense?</p>
