Yeah I know, I just wanted to point out the name reveal, Sebastian & I totally agree he does sound like an unwanted villain. He’s giving me Klaus vibes though, maybe even knew who the Mikaelson’s were.
<p>For now I don't understand the interest of adding this character, except for comic moments because it can always be funny to see someone understand nothing of the modern world thing but that's all.</p><p>
</p><p>Also, he's around 600 years old, Julie Plec had said that in Legacies there would be no old vampire because otherwise relations would be deranged and the fact that he was desiccated don't make him a vampire baby (Finn stayed 900 years in a coffin and that didn't make him a vampire baby). Same for Rebekah and Kol, they woke up in the modern world they managed to adapt without necessarily going to a supernatural school so why would Sebastien need to go to Salvatore school for that?</p>

I think he is just going to end up having a role similar to Roman and Jeremy. Where he helps recruit other students, while Alaric and the school help him adjust to modern life. I dont think he'll become a real student. I wonder why he ended up dessicated. Maybe what Stefan said to Damon in S1 happened to him? Now im getting excited. Btw, Thanks for posting this! 😎

<p>This old new vampire character is giving me an old 14th/15th century vibe with the way he speaks also kind of a Klaus vibe too since he has the mindset that "Vampires are meant to feed on humans" </p>
<p>honestly i dont blame him for wanting to still feed on humans, not trying to degrade humanity or anything but im tired of more vampires feeding on innocent animals instead of humans, its not only a boring tired cliche but its literally sickening now to the point I want to vomit. And you know julie is going to give him this semi hipster attitude of training his mind to feed on animal blood. Which is if anything anti hip and anti pc which she likes to be cause almost everyone agrees killing animals is bad, even if its for food. Why cant we just have this guy still feed on humans but feed on the scumbag humans like killers, rapists, real thieves(not the kind who steal money or food to support their family), people like that? Why do we barely see that not only in vampire diaries, originals, legacies but just vampire fiction in general? We kinda got that when enzo, stefan and damon worked for cade but the problem was they just flat out killed the humans without teaching them a solid lesson, secondly those humans could have just been as messed up as the vampires and needed mental help which they were denied of. I hate that writing style so much. I would give julie legit props even if she didnt come up with the idea but at least greenlit that story, sebastian could be a perfect candidate for that.</p>
