@MaryPoppins love love your response. Along the same line of thought as myself.
@Sean We’re talking about Psychic Bonnie, who had just awakened her psychic powers, nearly stalemating Cade who had been a psychic for 4000 years. She was stalemating him, but the only draw back was that she was pushing her mortal body. However, that won’t be a problem, as she’d be Truly Immortal (due to Qetsiyah’s version), and if she loses her magic (which won’t happen, as Dahlia and Inadu could teach her how to bypass this), she’d just use Dahlia’s version or Inadu’s skill to bypass Immortality, and still be able to use her magic/psychic powers. The same would be with Hellfire, if just Bonnie could manipulate it the way she did, then Immortal Bonnie would be able to do much more. The 7miles thing is highly impressive (we’ve had this convo before), as she didn’t have to be physically present to manipulate a physical “object”, and shows her great ability to focus/visualization, as it could have all gone south if her focusing skills were zero. And would be a great asset to this fight. What she did with Hellfire has only been shown to be done using Representation Magic, but she wasn’t using such tool. Why won’t the knowledge of Expression be used, the triangle is still there in the world and Bonnie knows exactly how to tap into it like she did. Qetsiyah’s Immortality would ensure that they’re totally unkillable, and their mental powers would still be above any Original’s and possibly the Sirens and if it gets in the way Dahlia and Inadu’s could work. I don’t see how Cade would be able to make it hard for a witch like Inadu, especially with Dahlia, Qetsiyah and Bonnie by her side. Bonnie alone combated his Hellfire. How would the Sirens make it hard for Dahlia or Qetsiyah? These witches could snap their necks, bloody hell, Qetsiyah could cast a universal neck snap or pain infliction spell. Silas played mind games on Expression Bonnie, but so did she, when she was able to turn him to stone. And if the witch of the Five could create Hunters who were immune to Silas’ mind powers, these witches (who are some of the brightest minds in magic in this universe) could.
Cade couldn’t claim souls that went to the Other Side for 2000 years or Inadu’s soul (and she was a bad person in life; a perfect candidate for Hell), so he wouldn’t be able to do anything to their souls, and he’d be fighting all these witches at once. Not one or even a combination of the Heretics could fend off against these witches. Their run on TVD was ridiculous. Bonnie showed more power than anyone of them or a combo of them. The Heretics couldn’t siphon all magic, thus the witches could make their magic “unsiphonable”. And with enough power, the protective magic upon Rayna could be easily broken.
Vincent stated, in Voodoo Child, that he communed with the Ancestors (and Inadu’s mother) and now he could lock her up in the book. That was the whole point of the link being reestablished with the Ancestors, so that the Ancestors would be able to (through a witch channeling them) imprison the Hollow, but she broke through his spell when she got more powerful (after the link to Hope was complete). At that point she had surpassed the Ancestors in power. Vincent’s power alone wouldn’t have stood a chance at all. The Ancestors could do the same to those other witches, however, it took the sum of them to subdue just Inadu, thus they’d need much more power times 5 or 6 to take on the rest of the other witches (and Bonnie, Qetsiyah, Hope, Dahlia, Freya, Esther wouldn’t just stand there while they fight Inadu). Tessa wasn’t facing off against an entire group of supernaturals to the death, so different situation.
Klaus’ power came from invoking fear in the minds of others, and his unpredictability, but there was nothing else great about him. None of these witches appeared to be afraid of him. Expression Bonnie, Harvest Davina, Madison, 100 powered Bonnie, the Hollow, Dahlia, Dark Magic Bonnie, Vincent, Genevieve, Harvest Monique all put him down and he couldn’t do a thing. Katherine was an equal to Klaus when it came to strategy but she’s been outsmarted before. The Immortals could be desiccated or petrified by Qetsiyah, Bonnie, Dahlia and Inadu who have all desiccated Immortals/Vampires. If the Bennett coven could make a bell that could negatively hurt the Sirens, these witches could be able to create something stronger. The witches can take care of Cade’s Hellfire and mind powers. The Travellers were ridiculously weak, having to cast even a simple pain infliction spell on two vampires in groups. The problem with their anti-magic spell is that is was all-inclusive, so if the Travellers casts the spell it’ll affect all the vampires, Dark Magic users etc in their camp as well, and that’s more than 90% of their allies gone. This would leave Bonnie, Inadu, Qetsiyah, Dahlia, Freya, Hope and Esther resorting to their natural magic and knowledge and that’ll be more than enough to tackle the remaining enemies (Cade, Untriggered Werewolf Klaus and Witch Silas; the Beast, the Originals, Heretics, Strix, would all be dead, and Ancestral Plane collapsed). I didn’t add the Sisters, because they seemed like victims of the Strix than willing allies, but even with them, the scale won’t be tipped.
Also Dahlia could use connective magic to link herself to the other 6 witches, who would be able to use their magic while being unkillable, and using Expression Magic taught by Bonnie.
But you’re absolutely right, it could go either way and would be exciting to see.
