I feel like legacies went in way over their heads by trying to add in so many fantasy creatures. It became so unrealistic and childish. Who else agrees?

I wouldn't say it unrealistic and childish. It's just that when you knew the TVDverse for 9 years with only vampire, witches and werewolf, it feel really weird to see all those new monsters.
It's also very funny retrospectively to imagine that the Mikaelsons may have faced dragons but got their ass burned down... lol. But I get what you mean.
Disagree, it gets really boring with the whole vampire, werewolf, witch villains after every season. I’m glad they didn’t stick to that storyline in Legacies. The whole vampire diaries universe is unrealistic all together lol
Qetsiyah-i cant tell you how many times ive heard the addition of these creatures are unrealistic, where did this comment even come from?, how is vampires, witches and werewolves realistic but dragons, mermen, etc. arent?
And childish?, please explain on that
Im trying to hold back my rage but its that kind of comment that makes julie think she can disrespect the creatures she brings in and that ruins the tv show for me
They're thinking outside the box. But I do agree with you.
But why is it unrealistic and childish?, why would u agree?
Disagree! I like they added all these different magical creatures. Since they didn’t get to display them on TVD or T.O
Well like i dont want to call people hypocrites cause i have no idea if they are the same people but for years on this fandom, people were asking for new species, tired of the same old 3, we finally get a bunch and now i hear mostly complaints
Even if those said people changed their minds, like why?, why are vampires, witches and werewolves more enjoyable to watch than dragons?, wraiths, mummies, etc?
I'm personally a huge fan of the way they decided to go with the series. It's a wonderfully inventive continuation of the stories we all loved from TVD and the Originals. However, it also stands on its own, especially with its "monster of the week" format. The characters all feel real as people and grounded in the established mythos of the world. The introduction of new (or old) creatures and monsters doesn't take anything away from the magic of the TVD universe, it just adds a new layer of complexity. Everything I've watched and read about the show from panels, to interviews, to behind-the-scenes clips shows a real passion among the actors and showrunners for the characters being presented and the story being told.
I have to wonder how many people who toss around insults so carelessly understand the staggering amount of work that goes into making any TV show. The ones who make it for us to watch and enjoy are artists, not to mention real people with actual feelings. Actors, writers, directors, camera people, editors, animators, the list goes on and on. These people are artists with a passion for their craft. If you dislike or disagree with their choices, I have news for you: there are literally hundreds of other shows you could watch. Find something that fits your tastes exactly and stop throwing shade at people who don't deserve the ridicule.
Anyway, rant officially over. To sum up, I disagree. Respect to everyone who works hard day to day to bring new stories into our world.
I agree it became to much fantasy in difference to TVD and TO but it is still a pretty good show
What do you think?
