I like him, but he clearly has an agenda. Otherwise he wouldn't be targeting Josie — and perhaps Lizzie later — out specifically inviting her to him new curriculum. Some are suggesting that the ring scene was an example of him siphoning magic from the ring and therefore meaning he is a siphoner. Perhaps this is why he is targeting Josie, he could be a member of the Gemini Coven — although the extent to which this is likely is slim.
