I was excited too to see more of Josie's dark side on S1, but is disgusting and desnecessary what Vardemus is inducing Josie to do. He's going too low and playing in an unfair way. He needs boundaries, because of his greed and thirsty for power and winning, caused Josie to badly hurt someone innocent and hurting herself emotionally and physically.

I'm not against, it remains in a certain logic. I wouldn't have liked Josie to develop her dark side alone for no reason, while here we see someone testing the Josie's limits and Josie testing her own limits.
