We know that a vampire can’t be a witch at the same time (unless they had a special circumstance, ex: Hope, siphoners), but can a werewolf be a witch at the same time? Is Freya and Keelin’s child a werewolf-witch hybrid?
You can have both the werewolf and witch gene but having them both active at the same time has never happened in canon and there's actually more proof against it than for it. The fact the the 1st wolves used to be witches and lost their magic upon turning. The fact that the only canon werewitch is Hope who was specifically created to go against the wolves. The fact that there has never been a purely witch werewolf hybrid in either shows, and if it were possible it wouldn't be rare like siphon-vampire hybrids. People believe you can be both because they wrongly assume that the only reason you can't be witch and vampire is because vampires are immortal.
Hope debunks this, no? She’s activated her curse, and still has access to her magic. Maybe she’s an exception? I mean, she IS a Loophole, right? But there is Warewitch in her Tribrid status.
@ChuggyBlones Actually, there has been one purely witch-werewolf hybrid and it’s Klaus Mikaelson. However, he never triggered both genes and lost his witch side when he became a vampire.
