exactly there is a user who is driving me crazy with this theory besides saying that witches when crossed with werewolves can only be born with a gene, since witches and werewolves are not affected by the hybrid curse since they are natural beings in the reproduction mode.

Damon never tried to compell Bonnie. And Klaus says they can be compelled. And the show runners have multiple times said an untapped witch is a non supernatural human. If untriggered werewolves can be compelled, then it's nuts to think untapped witches can't. When unlike untapped witches, untriggered werewolves are supernatural.

And werewolves were created by a witch. Not nature. Therefore not natural.

Elena technically is an untapped witch. Katherine was a traveller.

She could still be compelled as a human/doppelganger in the early seasons of tvd.

Also wasnt there a book written by Julie that was supposedly canon, it mentioned Klaus' wife who was a Werewitch hybrid.
