unexplored witches compelled by vampires

is any unexplored witch invulnerable to be compelled? a user is trying to state that this is possible on the show, has it already been declared that this is impossible right?

I think okay i think damon tried to compel bonnie before she really used magic and he couldnt do it

exactly there is a user who is driving me crazy with this theory besides saying that witches when crossed with werewolves can only be born with a gene, since witches and werewolves are not affected by the hybrid curse since they are natural beings in the reproduction mode.

it was a puncture in the script before they created this rule because even a witch does not manifest her powers, she is still a witch or has magic in her blood, this theory is very idiot.

Damon never tried to compell Bonnie. And Klaus says they can be compelled. And the show runners have multiple times said an untapped witch is a non supernatural human. If untriggered werewolves can be compelled, then it's nuts to think untapped witches can't. When unlike untapped witches, untriggered werewolves are supernatural.

And werewolves were created by a witch. Not nature. Therefore not natural.

I'll give you the admin answer: as far as we know. There hasn't been a untapped witch said or shown to be vulnerable or invulnerable to a vampires compulsion.

I think that's how they would answer it. Btw, I'm the user he's referring to in case anyone was wandering.😎

Elena technically is an untapped witch. Katherine was a traveller.

She could still be compelled as a human/doppelganger in the early seasons of tvd.

Also wasnt there a book written by Julie that was supposedly canon, it mentioned Klaus' wife who was a Werewitch hybrid.

Elena like the Salvatore brothers is a tough sale. I don't even think the writers know that they are supposed to be untapped. It never comes up for those three. Yes, Klaus had married a werewitch in the book(which is considered Canon).

It really is a tough sale. Sounds like something they obviously made up along the way, but never actually confirmed it.

I still personally like to consider it canon since it could possibly mean Stefanie carries the witch gene = supernatural = Salvatore school for the gifted

It really does. It's why I didn't even want to bring them up in another discussion. She has a better shot at being considered a Doppelganger instead of a witch. But the writers could make her a witch.

^actually she has no chance of being a doppleganger. Not only do dopplegangers no longer exist because Silas and Amara are dead, but dopplegangers only appear once a century or so. Nadia was not a doppleganger. Isobel was not a doppleganger. Stefanie would not be a doppleganger. She actually has a better chance of being a witch. Because they still exist and she could get it from both sides.
