I thought season 2 was an improvement and much better than season 1

Didnt have much progress?, i disagree, how about clarkes development, kai finally getting killed, alaric having somewhat of a more open mind, not trash talking klaus even after he died, the monsters motivations are a bit more clear although they dint make the best sense, i could maybe think of other things i think

Not saying season 2 is super progressive but even so i find it more enjoyable

I was bored all through season 2 mainly because the plot felt stagnant and also Hope and Landon were having some relationship issues which weren't that interesting to watch and there was no development coming out of it. Lizzie was having some character development but for her it's always a spiral and she ends up where she began so that's not much of a development. And I feel like they used a lot of common, predictable tropes

I think there's a lot going on in S2 but as in the end everything seems to return as in S1 it's difficult to know if S2 is an improvement.

Well it's not good maybe less bad if that makes sense i mean it's like a decision between bad and awful.

I thought it was better than the first season. I didn't care for the fae episode or the Santa one, but the show always seems to save itself from being corny at the last minute--like when Wade came down the stairs and everyone was chanting his name, and then MG says "Why are we calling this guy's name?" and Kaleb replies, "I think it's his birthday or something."

I agree they could bring Sebastian back because there is a lot they can do with him. I was hoping we'd see him react to the 21st century more. Maybe the collapse of the 2018 prison world didn't kill him and he and Dwayne got sucked into the 2028 world created by the coven.

Well; overall, there were baby step progress for some characters' development. Lizzie's was the most noticeable. But in terms of the series' story line, not much has moved forward aside from dealing with different creatures that come out of Malivore every pretty much every episode.

The fact that both seasons focused on fighting supernatural creatures sent by Malivore most if not every episode make them pretty much like one season instead of two.

I dont get where u guys are getting that lizzie has the most development, she is nothing more than just another caroline from the early tvd days

I find Llizzir extremly dull like not in full potential she's just some entitled [person 100% person] that doesn't go forward or backward she's just stuck in one place if that makes sense
