I have a source who tells me all fictional cop shows are in danger and it makes me wonder if sheriff mac herself could get written or killed off cause julie I think said she is coming back so if she comes back, her sheriff job might be taken off.

Sherif mac (or any sherif from any show) should be fine as she is hardly featured in the show. Besides, the shows that are being stopped or are in danger of being stopped are mostly just one's that are mainly about and focus heavily on cops. 😎
In this case...probably both.

It would just be them trying to cover their tails if they are stopping the shows.
