I personally love Finn, he is one of my favorite Mikaelson's (the others being Rebekah, Kol, and Klaus).
So I think he deserved a chance to change and grow as a character. Another reason being, I wanted to see how him and Hope would interact with each other as Hope got older.
Yeah I think it was so weird that they left him daggered for 900 years and they didnt even care when he would mention it then he forgave them like what
he kinda deserved better but i really didn't like him🤷♀️
@Davbendam Finn never really forgave them. Freya is really the only sibling he truely love. Before his death, he thank them for helping save her and he was about to say something about the Always & Forever vow before he start dying again.
Maybe at that moment he somehow admired their will to protect and save each others and maybe he was ready to try to fix things with his family, but he never really forgave them.
It's sad how TO's story was affected by the actors' availability. Claire wanted out, Alice Evans (Esther) had quitted acting to raise her children and barely was able to return for 3 episodes in the whole series, Kol would've been more prominent had his actor been available for more appearances, and coming to this thread's subject, also Finn's actor was done with acting. At least he was able to return for 7 episodes, I doubt he wanted to be around longer, and I'm sure they wanted to prove that Lucien was able to kill an Original.
All in all, had all these actors been available for the whole show, I'm certain we would have seen more of their characters and thus their growth, and likely no horrible body jumps in S2.
What do you think?
