Evolve how? They’d have to inherit the ability to produce their own magic to become able to produce their own magic but where would either of them inherit that when non of them have that ability?

This is what i hate about legacies, they did the Saltzman twins so bad and made them look so weak. I always think that siphoners are such a powerful supernaturals ever since tvd. Kai and the heretics were one of the best and strongest villans and they were siphoners. If they have a good talisman or something to draw power from, they could totally defend themselves from anyone. They made the Saltzman twins look like they can't do just so Hope can save the day.

^The opposite is true. Hope is the one who is portrayed as weak and always needing their help. And the heretics were powerful because they could siphon off their vampirism, Kai only actually became powerful on his own when he became leader or heretic, before that his greatest weapon was the psychological damage he could inflict. And the twins in Legacies have so far been portrayed as being more powerful than their tvd counters.

Yea the twins were portrayed as more powerful then Hope. And Yea the Heretics were only so powerful because they had their vampire side to draw magic from, and Kai was very manipulative then became more powerful when he became leader of the coven and became a vampire as well.

When have they ever been portrayed as more powerful? Aside from when Josie and Hope fought and Hope wasn’t really trying that hard.
