Admittedly you're right but seeing as most of the creatures we've been seeing are bloodthirsty monsters, the only thing they could show us is how many people they killed. Well, history is said to repeat so any insight into the past is greatly appreciated, especially if it pertains to the monsters
They are presented that way cause we only see like 5 min. of them and jp wants to take the easy way out and have them more animalistic(i know humans are animals but like these things just growl so we cant look into personality). Only a few of them have talked.
I really dont get the big obsession so many shows have with going back into the past, i find it dull. I wouldnt mind maybe medieval england to see knights in armor battle but most of the flashbacks in this verse take place in america or greece like there is no other place on the planet to show off.
And like this idea would never swim by the writers, i could say it as much as possible and it go in one ear and out the other but the more animal monsters literally lack emotion i think or most emotion cause they are able to understand the concept of peace cause of what malivore promises them but they are only going by natural instincts like a tiger or shark. People like klaus and damon have empathy but alot of time ignore it but end up getting the redemption arcs cause I think its easier to sell redemption of a pretty boy vampire than a creature looking thing to a mass audience.
They're presented that way cause most of the myths used are about straight up monsters who have nothing more than animalistic behavior. The reason people like the past so much is because anything is possible since we don't know everything about it. Playing with history is something that brings life into a story that has immortality in it since you can't talk about it without bringing up the past. All animals can understand peace but they're emotions aren't the same as a human beings. That's something you have to acknowledge and let go.
But the problem with that is there is no rule that states legacies absolutely has to do things the way our world deals with mythology, i mean we know they dont. I generally just dont care for flashbacks but that is irrelevant atm. But to add onto that, characters like silas, finn and sebastian are a bore to get into for the simple fact they spent most of their lives desicated so going back to the past isnt automatically great.
Like i said they can do a different take but they arent, they are going the easy route.
Well this was kinda easy but hard at the same time I don’t think we should see Katrine because that would make Stefan’s sacrifice stupid but then again she would show up and be like I want to kill klaus’s daughter now and Hope would be thank you next bitch now ester is hopes grandma she can hurt hope in ways others can’t just because they are family and cause she wanted Hope dead so Dhalia wouldn’t rise and Silas I don’t see the point I’m i feel like dahlia would be a great enemy but then again she would look stupid she got beat by her own family a school full of witches wolves and vamps could take her down and as for Lucian that’s a one hundred percent pass no reason needed and as for other i feel like mikel would be a great enemy to face cause he hates klaus so why not try to kill his daughter instead
I want to see Katherine somehow find peace and if she can through Legacies, I’m all for it. She was also my #1 fav from TVD
She presumably is in peace cause there is no other hell fate other than malivore right now
I'd want Katherine , but actually there's no point since Neither Hope nor the twins have anything with her .
I’d want Katherine to come back but I don’t think it would make sense cause she wouldn’t have a reason to do anything to them and she has to attachment to anyone. But I think either Esther or Daliah would make the most sense
What do you think?
