I agree! This episode turned out great and I love the close of Rafael's storyline and am happy he finally gets to be with both of his parents.

Also I'm pretty sure that the moment between Hope and Landon at the end of the episode was a break up, it sounded like Landon was breaking off the relationship as he know it wouldn't work out anymore with him being human again.

And I agree, I can't wait to see were Alyssa and The Necromancer's plan goes. According to the Sphinx, it sounded like they'll be successful and if so, we should finally get lots a chaos and maybe some more TVD/TO vibes like we did with the Kai episode's. Also according to the Sphinx, someone will die; so it's about time! They've need the drama of a main/recurring character's death for like the last two season and I can't wait to find out which student dies.

So overall, the episode was amazing (as well as a tearjerker, I cried like three times) and they definitely did a great job with this episode in my opinion.

Rewatched it a second time and it was ok. Liked how they writted off Rafael but still leave the door open for a come back. Just don't like how they are screwing the Handon with dumb non-sense. Landon's reaction doesn't make any freakin sense and is totally off-character... I they break up with that, it will show how lame the writting in this show is.

I think the episode itself was good. How they handle Raf dying was nice and not the worse send off. But I do have mixed feelings about him being sent off in the first place. Also, did anyone else felt like his parents came off more mysterious than? Like his dad being missing or his mom asking Alaric who sent him.

I think it's safe to say Landon and Hope are on the rocks. And Ethan is about to help complicate things even further(i feel like he is just there to bring in the real love triangle since Raf wasn't down with competing against his brother).

Loved The Necromancer and Alyssa scenes.

I liked it but I hate the fact that Landon lost his powers and I do think he will get them back i just hate that they are turning Landon back into his insecure self he was back in S1 and I think the Handon fight was that a fight not a break up and I think the Musical episode will have some great Handon moments (Danielle said as much in an old interview)

Rafael was fortunate that neither of his parents had any kind of life that they could spend eternity with him.

It was good someone finally (permanently hopefully) and we've seen Damon's car the two only things good so far in 3rd season
