I’ve heard it quite a lot, Especially that Malivore will be defeated this season along with the Necro and we would get a new villain, I’m not 100% sure how truthful this is but it’s pretty likely.

But like do you have a link to this info, how exactly did you hear this, i cant imagine that being spilled online

It was obvious that Hope would be somehow nerfed in Legacies for plot purpose so I'm not surprised. I mean, you just can't have an all powerful protagonist. All the show would be meaningless.

Same thing kinda happened to the Mikaelsons. Back to TVD, they were the most feared peoples in the world. No one dared stand against them because it was meaningless. They were just too powerful, dangerous, unkillable... just invincible.

But in TO, they are taken down by almost any witches and most werewolfs and vampires don't even fear them anymore.

Hope in Legacies is not weaker than in The Originals, but it look like her power level is really not consistent. She can seem invincible in an episode and be easily beaten in the next one.
