How was klaus able to become a hybrid without ingesting doppleganger blood

So I’m curious about klaus being able to become a hybrid without having doppleganger blood to start instead it was his “first kill” that activated his curse. I am aware that Esther used doppleganger blood to turn her kids into vampires but they still needed to drink just normal human blood to complete the process. For klaus though in order to make any new hybrids he needs a human doppleganger to complete the transition so why didn’t he need a human dopplegangers blood to complete his transition and just a normal kill?

Because hybrids were supposed to be like that, a wolf could become a vampire without doppelgänger blood but esther cursed klaus’ blood when she binded his werewolf side so even if he did break the curse on him by killing the doppelgänger he wouldn’t be able to create hybrids because that doppelgänger would be dead but elena staying alive ruined esther’s backup plan…that’s why Hope is able to make hybrids without doppleganger blood she’s not cursed like Klaus

Yeah, the curse Ester put on Klaus is what caused him to need Doppelgänger blood to make more Hybrids as it was an important part of breaking the curse in the first place.
