Yes I talked about how some of the monsters seem vampiric not because they are immortal but have similar traits such as magic or life draining powers.

Are you part of the group that thinks the originals should have come from cave times and the immortals after them? what is the logic of this? the theme of their story is precisely that before the immortals really worked, there were several weak attempts at immortality until theirs Silas and Amara worked, the forms of immortality were just tricks to deceive nature, such as trapping the spirit in the body(the immortality of sirens ), body switching (like the travelers' immortality and Celeste Dubois), everything was tentative until Qetsyah made Silas' perfect immortality and right after the vampires' immortality failed because of nature, the whole immortality story in TVD has a meaning logically through the story that was told, even that of the gods is different because it is immortality with unlimited lifespan, and then you come up with the crazy theory that the original vampires should be older? and that Silas is the one who works as a vampire because he is older than them in the chronology of the series? Did you understand the explanation of the series? You and Tommy just talk nonsense you have to understand the history and the context before creating crazy ideas and taking them as the truth, what part have you not yet understood about the consequences of immortality such as bloodlust and why Silas drank blood? I understood after rereading your post, sorry, but anyway they have to organize a lot of things, like limits on witches' powers or types of immortality, for me it's still a mistake that for example sirens are rare there were supposed to be others, or even gods being original magic users before witches, after all, they are not even the first witch species but a totally different and unlimited species compared to what witches are, like originals vampires are to regular vampires.

Wait, but Silas and Amara were immortals not vampires. They just needed blood to survive. Even Silas said he despises vampires.

Look we can all argue about the semantics of immortals vs vampires all day but the fact remains the way silas and amara came in were not handled well, we still dont know to this day how qetsiyah was able to make her immortal potion without the drawbacks the mikaelsons had among other mysteries surrounding that story and because of that ambiguity I find that to be poor writing end of story.
