Maybe I mentioned this before maybe I didnt but has anyone else questioned in their mind why malivore needs landon to complete his master plan, why not just use the phoenix he absorbed to help create landon in the first place? It comes off similar to when silas had the cure in his hands, he could have taken it and died to join amara but didnt, granted we dont know if he was strapped to the slab in the first place and then desicated into stone or was turned into stone and kept there for 2000 years but it felt similar all the same.
And to me its stuff like that which just ends my interest in the lore, like no reason, zero reason to keep up with the various rules and such they try to build and dont even follow themselves, no reason to come here and do a pointless rant, just hope I can persuade others to say its not worth all the time and effort trying to keep up with the rules that are so interchangeable.
Like the only way I'd give malivore credit to his plan is if he specifically wants a phoenix son of his own to make the bloodline but its so counterproductive. Clearly it dont mean too much to him cause he didnt even force necromancer to make him a phoenix again and the power didnt do him any favors cause the dragon just annihilated him.
