Gemini Coven

Fellow newbie to the TVD universe (suuuuper late i know, took me a while to finally give TVD a chance, and it didn’t disappoint) So i just finished Legacies, and i watched it for Lizzie and Josie. What i was looking forward to the most for them was the Merge. While yes Lizzie dying and turning into a hybrid solved it, I have a question, why did they need to merge if there was literally no one left alive in the Gemini Coven? As I recall, every member of the Gemini Coven died as a result of Kai killing himself while he was the Coven Leader. The Saltzman twins survive and are literally the only ones alive. Why must they merge if there is no coven for them to lead? Why is it their “duty” or “destiny” to do it? Couldn’t they just not recite the incantation for the merge and live long mortal lives with there own families? Couldn’t they just ignore it and think “there is no coven, why do i gotta risk killing myself or my twin if there is nothing to lead?”

How do you feel about Josie Saltzman being the last remaining siphoner/Gemini coven member alive?

I've been thinking here and what's the point of coming back with the merger plot? Josie is talking since last season of this story, back in the final eps of the third this uncomfortable subject came back, lastly Kaylee wanted to leave and I think they already had an idea, what's the point of it? Now that Lizzie has turned into a hybrid the Gemini Coven and any chance of them coming back has been wiped out, unless Josie has kids, or they discover another pair of twins, some usurers and here said season 5 could exploit that but this story is dead...Even if they invent other miracle babies inside another vampire or even some offspring of Kai Parker or another witch family related to the Gemini with their magic in their blood, or any other crazy story, it doesn't make sense anymore, what's the point of it ? do they really intend to renewed this story in season 5? or is it just speculation?

Out of all the various factions in tvdverse, some of them I guess left unknown in that we dont know if the full quantity of the lot died but assuming some of them survived, which group would you like to see make a comeback in legacies to give closure?

Travellers(assuming some of them survived after damon ran the car into mystic grill)

Gemini coven(outside of valerie, josie and lizzie assuming some had the foresight to unlink from the coven)

Marcels original crew of vampires(the ones in his inner circle and anyone lucky enough to escape the garden)

The guerrera brothers(assuming elijah left any alive cause I think they were last seen with him)

The kindred(assuming there were some members after freya attacked them)

Klaus's enemies(assuming they didnt all die out)

The original armory group(assuming some made it out alive from sybils massacre)

Augustine society(assuming enzo left any alive cause I think wes maxfield sent him in season 5 to kill them for some reason)

Silas's cult(assuming any survived kols attack)

The bloodlines of finn, kol and elijah(assuming some again had the foresight to unlink before their original sire died)

Phoenix stone vamps(assuming a few of them escaped and survived from rayna, bonnie, enzo and damon)

Church fell vamps(assuming any made it out of bonnies fire spell)

This last one maybe a bit redundant but any malivore monsters would you like to see assuming some made it out alive when hope killed malivore and his dimension engulfed in flames)

Im not putting cleos sisters cause despite never having seen them die, i mean we see a burning house with screams, its presumed they all died cause cleo wouldnt lie unless she has good reason to

Certain names got dropped or hinted to in this show that have villian potential within them as well as current faces and they are:

The person that cursed the gemini coven

The person who killed cleos sisters

Mg and kalebs sires

Malivores children

The person who has prevented malivore from getting out and who sent necromancer back(they might not be a helping hand to the salvatore school as we think)

Triad again(what would they bring differently to the table this time)

Dark josie and dark alaric (what would they bring differently)

And then certain students- lizzie, ripper mg and flip switched tribrid hope

Im not going to put people who are somewhat on neutral like aurora or a past villian like katherine and kai, those are dead horses I no longer wish to entertain the idea of a return and I see no way a monster besides malivore would be a side villian cause that is the point of motw to make these monsters have their 1 episode of fame and onto another and so forth, its going to be vampires, werewolves, witches and humans as the villians if I had to guess to work alongside malivore.

What does everyone want to see in these last 7 episodes of this season of legacies?

Just a few for me personally-give us malivore permanently, no more of this he goes away and comes back, just have him stick by

Hope becomes tribrid already

Improve motw to make it impactful

Kill off student characters

Reveal who killed cleos sisters, was it malivore or someone else

Bring in the other malivore creations already

I can hold off on the merge, cause id bet money they wont do that story for real until the twins are 22, right now they are 17 i think

The show canon said all creatures considered supernatural all goes to The Other Side:

These are all supernaturals creatures who inhabited over there for 2,000 years.

The Prisons Worlds are technically alternate pocket universes/dimensions where they repeate everyday on temporal loop(Everything like object, foods and celestial events reappers on 24/1).

In May 10th 1994, the Other Side still existed and the Gemini Coven(A coven of witches) did a banishment and creation spell to ceeate a prison world for Kai Parker.

At some point of time, as supernatural siphoner witch Kai Parker killed himslef and died. The question is what happened to his soul? Did he go to the Other Side due being supernatural before he came back life in prison world?

If you got to make a spin off (s) from TVD and TO what’s would they be?

What would yours be?

There have been numerous cover-ups throughout TVD and TO, but there are two events that keep coming back to me:

The Travelers causing over 2 dozen people to kill themselves in broad daylight in the middle of town and when Kai killed the entire Gemini Coven and all their bodies were left in the barn.

Does anyone know how the Mystic Falls Gang came up with believable cover ups for these events?

Kai, Luke and Liv's surnames were Parker but Jo's surname was Laughlin. Why? Please explain.

When Malachi merged he became a normal witch because he merged, so when Josie and Lizzie merged does that mean when Josie got her body back she would be a normal witch because she won the merge? Just a question because this happened when Malachi merged and lost his ability to siphon because the losers soul is bound to the winner and also the magic.

Now technically Lizzie and Josie did the merge, even though it didn't exactly work the way it suppose to. Does this mean they will still need to do it on their 22nd Birthday?

Am I the only one who is more fascinated with the Gemini Coven storyline? I just love the fact that they produce a subsection of witches that don’t have their own personal magic but the rare ability to siphon magic from other sources & use it like any other ordinary witch. To top it all off they can become a vampire and witch hybrid. I really wished they explored more on the origin of the Geminis. Why do they chose their leaders in that why like in TVD series? Are they the only know coven to have siphons? And how did siphon witches come to be? We’ve seen different types of witches and their witchcraft before. I just always thought that the characters and storylines of this particular supernatural was always cool! & having them as part of the main cast in Legacies is awesome! Lizzie and Josie are two of my fav characters. I hope they start changing the direction of the story within Legacies and start developing more within the actual characters themselves. There’s so much potential in this series!

I’m on the last episode of season 6 and I like to know everything about everything on the shows I watch. I read somewhere that the twins Josette was pregnant with were transferred to Caroline when she was stabbed, but who did this, when did they do it and how can’t Stefan or Enzo hear the heartbeats when Enzo is driving them to Lily?

I’m wondering why when the Gemini Coven created the two Prison Worlds for Kai and the Heretics, they need so many witches to create the Worlds.

If only Bonnie and The Twins were needed to make the new world that Ric sent Sebastian, Jade and the other students to, what does say about The Twins Power? we know that Bonnie has the power of 100+ Bennett Witches. but the twins have to siphon that, so that would mean that The twins would have the power of 10 Bennett witches, each.

This brings me to another question. if either Lizzie or Josie become a Hybrid, would that make one of them super powerful?

So the Bonnie-Elena linking spell.

Kai was the leader of the Gemini Coven. He even said there was no witchy work around the spell or else it would kill them both instantly. For 2 season, Elena was gone. Then the last episode happened. Bonnie just breaks the spell. Just like that. No explanation of how she did it. She just said I broke the spell.

So I’m confused. Did she all of a sudden get motivation or a boost of energy from the witches where she thinks she can break the spell all of a sudden? I still don’t understand how she broke it and it frustrates me. Anyone else feel like this?

Like am I the only one who thinks Kai deserves better? If his family didn't treat him like he would be a mistake he sure would be a better Person. Also why didn't they want Kai to fuse with Jo? Just because he couldn't handle so much magic? I think its kinda their fault that their children got killed. They made Kai even angrier when they put him in Prisionworld... Bonnie was some kind of the Person who changed kai I guess... Anyone shares my opinion?
