Does any notice how different things would've been if Hope had gone with the Saltzmans from "Kai Parker Screwed Us" (Season 2 Episode 12) of Legacies?
I personally feel like the whole merge subject has been over exhausted in the show, and I see people saying that Lizzie should just turn to a vamp to avoid it but I disagree. With Lizzie stating in “Kai Parker Screwed Us” that she’s thought about it but wants a family, I can’t help but feel annoyed. It seems like they want to make Lizzie a carbon copy of Caroline. I think if vampires were the way to go for avoiding the merge I think Josie should be the one to turn. I think with her whole thing of being in Lizzies shadow, It’d help separate the twins as their own people as Josie would be able to do her own magic. It’d also be a fun story line after they’re done with her dark side. Maybe the necromancer could sacrifice her after her dark side goes away as like revenge?
Kai was a marvelous villain, and one of the best in the entire TVD universe. Without a doubt, the best episode of the season was "Kai Parker Screwed Us." Kai was one malicious guy who left nothing but destruction and grief in his wake. He killed several of his brothers and sisters, he killed Jo at her wedding and tried to kill the twins twice, he killed Luke, Liv, and forced Tyler to trigger his werewolf gene. He broke Alaric's heart and put Elena in a sleeping curse, which had an adverse effect on Damon. This led to the invasion of the Heretics, with Julian and Rayna Cruz not far behind. Now, he forced Josie to break the hourglass and ingest the dark magic, which was what she was trying to prevent. Because of that, Dark Josie took her over completely and killed Alyssa, then forced Lizzie to merge with her. Kai had no desire to redeem himself when it was presented (helping Damon and killing Cade). Like Sebastian said, "Some people wouldn't know what to do with a second chance." I think Kai definitely gives Malivore here a run for its money. I hope he will be back in some form.
After last weeks episode, I’m hoping to see Kai and Hope face off. I would like to see Hope as a full tribrid if she dies in a fight with Kai. Maybe she could close the second pit and Kai can finally die for good. No idea where the Necromancer fits into this. Thoughts?
This was the best episode in the entire show.
It was intense, dramatic and it didn't have any of that stupidity(admins please don't judge)from the other episodes
Now for this I can proudly say that it was the closest episode to TO or TVD.
Please share your opinion.
Edit:admins you really made up my day you removed the thing i was least expecting to be removed
What do you think about this new Human-Wolf form Diego showed us in the last episode of Legacies ? At first, I was shocked that they've somehow rewritted a monster that we know for 10 years of TVDverse but when I thought about it more, I think this is a really new and interesting case that never happened before.
Diego was stuck in the prison world for 10 years and each days was a full moon. That make at least 3 650 turning. Imagine if a young wolf trigger his curse at 15 ( so rather young ) and can live till 80 years old, it would make " only " 780 turning in his life. It mean that Diego in only 10 years endured almost 5 lifetime of turning.
It seems that like humans and animals, even supernatural beings can somehow under some circumstances, evolve with time to overcome some situations. It make me think about thing like " what would happen if a vampire keep burning himself all day in the sun ( but not enough for killing himself ) for years, maybe he could evolve into a vampire who don't fear sunlight ? In that casem it would be a lot of struggle for nothing since daylight rings are commons items but I think you get what I mean.
Also, this is only an assuption, but maybe some hybrids can use this form ? In season 2 of The Originals, Klaus and Hayley both showed the ability to transform their hands into werewolf paws.
Some Fans thinks that Kai being forgotten is a plot hole bacuse and I quote "memory curse was broken" and "that should not longer apply". I personally think that this is nonsense because Josie only purified supernatural influence (memory spells, Malivore blocked memories etc.) on people minds to whatever date was in 2x06. Malivore ability to erased people from collective conscience is still intact. What do you guys thinks?
The more I watched this last episode I’m missing how grounded this Universe used to feel before Legacies introduced the stupid “monsters of the week format”, which is funny bc you’d think a show created around the 3 main factions of supernatural in school would incorporate for school drama right??? Well it doesn’t, and with this episode at least you get that feel. The writers should’ve started the first seasons plot with this premise and let in roll over into season 2 bc this Kai Parker episode is the most interesting episode of the series by far and that’s honestly sad to say, but you can’t deny that the Malivore plot has kept the series stagnant and redundant because of the misuse of the new monsters. And right now ik that this series is solely surviving off of the nostalgia the other two shows left behind.
Why are the writers of this show so insistent with the fact that almost every new vampire that is introduced is a ripper?? It’s like they try to stray away from old material and do something completely new and alright or they reuse old material and overuse it.
I'm not done watching the episode, but Sebastian had just called Lizzie Cassandra and I was right!! Elizabeth Saltzman is a doppelganger and I am very excited to see flashbacks of their life together.
I'm VERY excited (but that might be an understatement).
Watching the Kai Parker episode and seeing Sebastian and Lizzie rooming around the world romantically playing fairytale just for him to eventually take advantage and date rape her, made me feel kinda of sick. It made me realize how the writers have been romanticizing these unequal power dynamics with these shows whether its between a young naive human and centuries old vampire or a young naive witch and a centuries old vampire, knowing that there audience is mainly teens but legacies being the exception probably kids too now. It’s sort of a callback to S1 of TVD when Damon was abusing and having sex with Caroline.
Although we probably won't get any Bonnie, Damon, Elena, or Caroline in this season, we were gladly reunited with the infamous Season 6 villain, Malachai Parker. As show in the trailer for the 12th episode of Season 2, Kai is teased as he is speaking to Josie on the cellphone about her magic, getting out of the prison world, and saving her father. I don't know about you, but I was most definitely happy to see a familiar face, other than Alaric, on Legacies. And one of our favorite villains is back to cause mayhem.
But it sucks to know that the woman he flirted with from time to time won't be there to thwart his plans, considering that the actress Katerina Graham is probably busy with other things. But at least give us someone else. We were blessed with Freya, and now Kai. Why can't we get someone like Caroline, especially since she founded the school with Alaric in the first place.
And Penelope needs to come back. If Kai can, why can't she?
Do you have any hopes or things you want to see in legacies 2x12, Kai Parker Screwed Us?
Would kai have been dedicated in the prison world due to no blood
Kai Parker (Chris Wood} utters that line in Legacies' upcoming two-parter (starting Feb. 6), which features the return of his delicious Vampire Diaries villain. (And this time he has a beard!)
Kai first appeared in season 6 of The Vampire Diaries, as a member of the Gemini coven so evil they used magic to lock him in a prison dimension with no one to talk to (or harm). But you can’t keep a good villain trapped for long. Not only did Kai return for Vampire Diaries' final season, but now, nearly two years later, Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) and Josie Saltzman (Kaylee Bryant) are about to meet their uncle, and EW has the exclusive first look at his return.
“The prison world is inescapable up until now, so it’s not so much how he comes back into our fold as how we enter his,” Legacies showrunner Julie Plec says of Kai entering the picture. “It has a lot to do with Josie and the dabbling she’s been doing with black magic. It’s a consequence of those actions that leads them to the proverbial and literal door of the prison world.”
And seeing as how this week’s episode ended with the twins and Ric trapped in said prison world, it’s only a matter of time before the family members are reunited. However, a typical family reunion this is not. After all, this is the man who tried to kill the twins in utero and did kill their biological mom. According to Plec, the experience of meeting Kai will “rattle” the twins, particularly Josie, who sees him as “a mirror of what could be if she’s not careful.”
And no matter what he says or how he looks, know this: Kai hasn’t changed. As Plec puts it, “He’s forever an irredeemable a—hole… but he’s one of our favorites.”
