Mikaelson Family

The Mikaelsons as characters are perfect, honestly the best in the series but I feel they don’t work as being the first Vampires. The reason for this does sound stupid but it’s because they aren’t old enough, as the writers kinda gave the proper old one age and title to Silas and Amara who are technically the first vampires. Even when the Mikaelsons meet Silas he beats them pretty easily and he’s not even at full strength, which kinda takes away from the idea that the Mikaelsons are the first and most powerful vampires even though that’s not the case.

Maybe the answer is easy to find but I'm trying.

In Dangerous Liaisons, Esther with a binding spell and Finn's help, wants to kill her children. As we know, the spell is broken and only Finn dies. That's how we learn when an original vampire dies their entire bloodline dies too.

So my question is, did Esther know that if one of her children died, the bloodline would die too?

Because, she's a powerful witch and she's the one who turned her kids into vampires, so how could she not know ? And if she knew, she really trick Elena by asking her to help.

I’ve just thought of this idea. Ayana Knew full well what Esther was planning, she knew how her spell would work through and through. Even warned Esther that what she was planning was comparable to a plague. So is it possible that Ayana secretly gave the vampire species their weaknesses(minus the WO one) to appease the spirits and Nature? Let’s also not forget that later in the series, Bonnie revealed that it was a spell that kept the Vampires from entering people’s homes without invitation.😎

I refuse to believe that Legacies is the last show in this universe, they always have a backup plan just in case their shows are in danger of cancellation. I think it’s another spinoff in the making, maybe it’s about the Gods, maybe it’s about the Mikaelson’s again, or could be about Hope’s life outside of the Salvatore school. I’m just hoping their is something after this, honestly they could give Rebekah and Freya their own show and have Hope,Lizzie and Caroline in it along with Valerie, we could see Rebekah and Freya’s enemies just like we saw Klaus and Elijah’s. That’s if the actors are willing to do that

(which i doubt they are) but it still wouldn’t hurt to ask right? worst they can say is no.

Something tells me anchiale is going to be jen the recent one we met but who would be your dream cast for the others? Cause Im getting a mikaelson dream casting vibe all over again and I love that feeling.

Given how dangerous the Heretics were, I think it would have been cool to see the Mystic Falls Gang reach out to the Originals for help and offer Elena's doppelgänger blood as payment.

Admittedly, I find it unlikely they would've used Elena as a bargaining chip, but I still think it would have been cool to see the MFG and the Originals work side by side.

Could it be possible to reopen The Originals through Legacies? Legacies could have another spin off connecting to the Mikaelson Family giving the writers the opening chance to re-boot The Originals if the previous actors are willing to come back. None of this is true it’s just a question out of curiosity!!

The Theory time is here guys. I will start with Alaric and Landon Returning.

I think both of them will return next episode because Hope will be at the school and also Landon was seen into the trailer + Hope has some second thought about her humanity being off. Maybe Alaric tells Landon what is happening and Landon searches for a way back and recovers his powers. I think Alaric will be back as well but only for short time because at this moment his involvement in the story is ZERO. Also the only stories that really needs him will be The Merge or some Vampire Hunting( if the show wants to go back to basics but there are very little chances. Also the school has a very short number of students and he needs to recruit more. Also Alaric is one of the oldest characters in TVD as a main character.

For the villain side off story at the moment we have 100% confirmed Triad and The Merge(Gemini Coven Ghosts and other monsters that have the way to stop the merge) but we have some 50/50 as well:

• Clarke's girlfriend: at the end of the latest episode we see Clarke's girlfriend being surprisingly interested about the supernatural world and because this plot will involve Clarke maybe finally will have some closure for him as a character and also some interaction between him an Landon. I can see something like that happening

• Klaus has enemies: The Mikaelsons haven't always been the most good relatives. As the matter of fact only Freya was mentioned and shown in the most hard situation. She was the only one who was there for Hope. Rebekah was there but she wasn't the best aunt. In the season 2 Freya said that has a son(witch or werewolf, we don't know for sure) that wants to send to Salvatore school and if she decides to do so it will be a treat for the fans to see her for 3-4 episodes with her son and Hope in Mystic Falls and one of Klaus oldest enemies to show up( the most wanted will be Mikael because if Freya has a werewolf son that will make Michael very angry. Esther and Finn duo is also on the list and as TO showed they always find a way back and we know Esther has a grudge about vampires imagine what she will think about Hope The Original tribrid that has no weakness and I say that because we don't know that that stake that Cleo has will work because her power doesn't make it she always is right go see episode 2 of this season. And if Esther is involved her sidekick the zombie that always follows her commands Finn, Dahlia can also be invited. But that doesn't mean that a new villain that has a grudge on Klaus and his family will be bad, actually will be welcomed with open arms.)

• Nature: we know that the force of nature wants Hope dead so what about the entire force of nature being a invincible creature that goes after her. That will make for a hell of a fight.

It is unknown if we will see this villains below but like the most of the fans I want some villains to be in the show:

• Kaleb sire

• MG sire

• MG's mother being back as a villain

• Sirens

• And this is an idea of mine Hope being split into three(because she is a tribrid) every one of the having a different power and personality like one werewolf Hope is brave and honest, witch Hope shy and like Josie in season 1 and vampire(original) Hope a mini-Klaus in season 2 or three of TVD. And vampire Hope creates chaos and makes MG(because is a reaper) to switch his humanity off and the Squad and the two good Hope try to stop them. And if Vampire Hope dies so the rest of her versions. And also this will make the perfect moment to kill Mg off in way because and offer him a story i don't even see his role in the show at this moment besides comic relief and a love triangle between Lizzie,him and Ethan(honestly i prefer Ethan and Lizzie).

Also i have a theory about how the should end: Hope and Landon being immortal beings running the school. Josie being a hybrid (vampire-witch) and Finch a hybrid created by Hope to save her life recruiting more students. Alaric and Klaus both reach Peace together, Lizzie and Ethan being married with a full life ahead, Cleo and Kaleb hunting evil vampires, Jed being a real alpha and MG dead(i hate MG with all my heart because his role in the story and the fact that he is really the blame for what happened with Landon and Hope: if he give the ascendant to Hope she will saved Landon before Malivore got him and none of this will happening right now. And the fact that he single made the decision to keep the ascendant secret and not to save Landon even if he was the one in problems Landon will be there for him with no seconds to think. Also making the decision to be in Hope's team even if he knows that means killing Landon and Cleo i mean I am honestly amazed by what this kid thinks about himself as being a hero even if he doesn't know the first thing about being a hero and not forget he killed Landon one time, honestly Hope put Landon above everyone else only few times and she is hated and MG the worst and selfish choices in the show, like telling Ethan that he loves Lizzie, why he gets with nearly Zero haters?) The finale season should happen after a flashfoward and everyone returning after being away from each other for 5-7 years or so to save the school.

What do you think about this theories ?

Does anyone buy into the potential idea they are setting up to kill off hope this season cause it just feels weird they would set up a weapon that can kill her yet not use it, every other unique weapon was used to kill so and so, dahlia, the hollow, cade and of course the originals, the only one who never tasted true death was rebekah but every other original got wasted by the one weapon that could destroy them so does anyone believe its possible or just a big false tease? Cause you have this new triad coming in about we want you dead hope, you got cleo having visions of some tree, you got landon on his way back who is the only other person apart from malivore who knows of the tree, and if they have alaric die its going to give lizzie motivation to find the weapon cause she seemed to be wanting to kill her.

Its just interesting how the ultimate monster hunter is now going to step into the monsters shoes where all the protagonists want her dead this time.

I want to make a disclaimer that number 1 im not putting legacies in here, i think we know well enough by now how lets just say not great the stories are and secondly this isnt a post to spread negativity, this is the equivalent of book club im wanting to see some discussion on this especially with such universal acclaimed seasons of 1-3 of tvd i want to know if unpopular opinions exist and plus believe it or not this helps writers like myself to know how to correct story error

For me some of the worst due to the nonsensical or just flat out boring-

I didnt like the other side storyline cause the other side did exist but it wasnt another dimension and i didnt like being talked down to like it did and time being wasted on it

The augustine storyline, here is the thing in execution it sounds pretty awesome cannibalistic vampires devouring their own kind to rid the world of them but there was some issues, first off i dont like bringing in stories of science fiction vs fantasy, cause fantasy is too interchangeable and too much of it is sci fi esque and too much isnt, secondly they didnt exactly have an endgame had they done their job cause how did wes plan on taking out jesse damon and elena not to mention he was not aware at all of the originals cause if he did he would know augustine vamps while strong couldnt do rip their heads off, then you had wes himself and he was very underwhelming both mentally and physically, you know for all the crap malivore and necromancer get, i really struggle to see how they are as bad or worse than him on an entertainment level. Lastly they didnt exactly give us the best explanation either on how they were made and they had time to do so.

Im only naming those for the time being, im curious to hear your guys's

1.Whom do you hope he reveals he knows from the past of all the alumni, well let me correct myself, he would mostly just know people from the past 1000-500 years he has been alive and I doubt he ever met stefan or damon but katherine, the mikaelsons, the trinity are possibilities.

2.Whom do you hope he kills to solidify himself as a true villian, he already semi took out cleo but whom else do you have in mind

Maybe I asked this before but are there any creatures that debuted on Legacies that you wished appeared on the other shows, that would have fit well to you guys?

I obviously could cheat and say all of them but ill just pick one and say the Necromancer, he's technically a character who should have not shown up due to his power level but at the same time I could have seen him fit with TVD or Klaus and the Mikaelsons, it would have been very interesting.

I finished season 2 of The Originals again, and something is still bothering me.

Esther was trying to make a happy family, Dahlia becomes upset with this and then they have a bit of a quarrel if we put it lightly. This starts the whole, "If I make you fertile, you have to give me every firstborn of every generation" thingy. Then they reunite after a thousand years and Esther has to apologize.

When I first watched this season I kept thinking, why did Esther have to apologize to Dahlia? I get the Always and Forever promise they made, but Esther wanted to start a family and they still could have stayed together and been happy, Dahlia could have also made a small little family of her own and could be the nice aunt of the Mikaelson family instead, you know the wicked witch. They still were together if they did that. I still don't get it, but okay. Maybe that's me.

What do you think about this and what is your point of view?

Does anyone else think gunters arrival could have importance of bringing in vampire families since they clearly didnt plan to have his words get alaric out but to bring in more vampire families to live up to the title of legacies? This has been an issue for many years now ive noticed in vampire stories and im not at all picking on tvd franchise, this pertains to most ive seen but i ask myself how are there so many vampires yet kept in secret from the world in that they still think they are myths, imo it all relates back to vampire families, not just the mikaelsons but id like to think the first vampires turned by lucien, aurora and tristan and its been a path of that ever since. Yes tristan helped make aya and the strix, aurora had two vampires followed to her, lucien had some with him but id like to think it isnt just all random people turned over the years and it started somewhere and became a family heritage of sorts

this show whether julie and brett realize of their own show has family at the root not romance, and it be a shameful wasted opportunity to have the only vamp families be salvatores, mikaelsons and de martels, maybe the heretics can be counted but that is all i can think off the top of my head.

If the Originals hadn’t ended what great evil would you want to see the Mikaelsons fight?

Am I the only one who thinks he deserved better? He was daggered in a coffin for centuries and only came out when Klaus got bored but got put right back in after messing with Marcel when though Rebekah, Klaus, and Elijah pride themselves on family and blood, got pushed in a room with a bunch of vampires in a human body by Klaus when he transported Rebekah to a body trapped in a house (that she trapped other people in) even though she deserved it because she got him daggered for years when he trusted her and was only looking for a way to defend himself (again, completely reasonable), and then people in his family mourned him but never avenged him, which is totally out of character for any of them. The writers made AN ORIGINAL die at the hands of a 

teenage newbie vampire hunter when he should’ve been able to snap all of their necks and leave easily, and he only wanted to kill them because he was told raising Silas would be the end of the world, he wanted to protect the world and Jeremy and Elena wanted the cure for selfish reasons. He acknowledges that there was no room at the table for him but for Marcellus, who isn’t even family. He only joined forces with Esther because he felt as though no one in his family cared about his death or even bothered to avenge him even though they’ve been together for a thousand years and they’re murderers. And when Rebekah was talking about how Klaus was truly not happy, she brought up Haley’s curse and Elijah leaving, but now how they betrayed their brother and thought they condemned him to death after betraying Davina.

He was often portrayed as psychotic and cruel but everything he’s done so far has a reason, the only reason he became like this is because of how he was treated by his own family.
