Given how dangerous the Heretics were, I think it would have been cool to see the Mystic Falls Gang reach out to the Originals for help and offer Elena's doppelgänger blood as payment.
Admittedly, I find it unlikely they would've used Elena as a bargaining chip, but I still think it would have been cool to see the MFG and the Originals work side by side.
There have been numerous cover-ups throughout TVD and TO, but there are two events that keep coming back to me:
The Travelers causing over 2 dozen people to kill themselves in broad daylight in the middle of town and when Kai killed the entire Gemini Coven and all their bodies were left in the barn.
Does anyone know how the Mystic Falls Gang came up with believable cover ups for these events?
I dont get why it would be so difficult to at least have the old characters like damon, elena, bonnie, etc. through texts, like alaric warns them or asks for a favor, its not that hard.
I wasnt a big fan of mfg but they helped build this universe so to just ignore their prescence bothers me
Plus i hate to say this but these students make me miss the mfg at times.
But it also correlates with the mikaelson family, i liked hope mentioning vincent lately but id like if she shared texts with kol and rebekah and heck even declan for all i care.
And if you can believe it, i would have kept matt donovan as the sheriff cause at least he is an established character, they literally brought in this sheriff mac to be another one of alarics love interests, thats it
