Original Vampire

The Mikaelsons as characters are perfect, honestly the best in the series but I feel they don’t work as being the first Vampires. The reason for this does sound stupid but it’s because they aren’t old enough, as the writers kinda gave the proper old one age and title to Silas and Amara who are technically the first vampires. Even when the Mikaelsons meet Silas he beats them pretty easily and he’s not even at full strength, which kinda takes away from the idea that the Mikaelsons are the first and most powerful vampires even though that’s not the case.

In which episodes during the series were Klaus and Elijah able to use their telepathy or mentally communicate with other people without touching? I just saw the telepathy article and it says they did this, is there a specific episode? Why don't I remember this in the series, I always thought the telepathy in the originals was just tactile.

When Esther created the Original Vampires, we know that she added to the spell a mystical bond that would kill all the vampires created by the Originals if any of them died. The thing is, this link is a separate spell from Esther's Immortality Spell, or is intrinsically part of the Spell?

And if it's part of the Immortality Spell, does that mean that Alaric also had a Sireline Link to whom he transformed? And Marcel too?

I’ve just thought of this idea. Ayana Knew full well what Esther was planning, she knew how her spell would work through and through. Even warned Esther that what she was planning was comparable to a plague. So is it possible that Ayana secretly gave the vampire species their weaknesses(minus the WO one) to appease the spirits and Nature? Let’s also not forget that later in the series, Bonnie revealed that it was a spell that kept the Vampires from entering people’s homes without invitation.😎

Since Hope triggered her vampire side, so many assumptions have been made by FANS and not creator’s of the show. One of them being she has the strength of an Original, which is FALSE. Hope’s vampire side is her weakest side, everyone knows strength comes with AGE, when Katherine was turned she didn’t automatically gain the strength of a 500 year old vampire, it was given to her over time. Same can be said for ALL The Original Vampires and normal vampires. People say Hope is stronger than all The Originals and any other ancient Vampire. Witchcraft wise that is true, her magic is what makes her deadly but strength wise Hope isn’t that powerful. I’m just annoyed with seeing people say she can subdue people like Rebekah or Kol or even Marcel for that matter with just her strength when we all know that’s not how vampirism works.

Before you attack me take this into consideration. In S4 of Legacies at the carnival when Hope meets the ancient Vampire he tells her “You find out how hard it is to fight someone centuries older than you” to which she replies “that might be a little PROBLEM for me if i only were a creature of the night” meaning if she didn’t have her witchcraft powers he would’ve subdued her. Secondly before you attack me, in S4 again on the last episode Hope’s witchcraft was disabled against Aurora, forcing her into hand to hand combat which she ultimately FAILED because Aurora subdued her and cut her with red oak TWICE.

Let’s not forget Hope literally had to get the staff out of Auroras hands just to finally get the upper hand by using MAGIC obviously.

This goes to show without her magic, Hope doesn’t really have any other forms of fighting, unless the vampire is a freshly turned then she would definitely subdue them. If she honestly had the strength and skills of an Original, She would’ve fought that Carnival vampire without magic, she would’ve subdued Aurora in 0.5 seconds andd might i add she would’ve heard Rebekah coming from behind her with the dagger in 4x05. I love Hope, i do but this is something the entire fandom needs to accept. She can compel people because her father was an Original, that doesn’t mean she has equal strength to an Original as well. If you want to prove me wrong then by all means, go ahead but if you’re not coming with facts like i just did then don’t come at ALL.

Can werewolf smell other werewolves and would an original and the sub species of an original be able to smell other vampires and werewolves because they have way better sense of smell?

Was there ever a time when Aya mentioned that Mikael came to the Strix with a group of vampires? I'm kind of confused, because there was a time here in the fandom where everyone said that Mikael never created other vampires that he was the only one who fed on them following Sther's plan not to create more vampires, and exterminate them all.

I know some people dont like the monsters but imo Id still like to see the original versions like the mikaelsons, but in this case the original dragon, original gargoyle, etc. Like the strongest and most difficult to take down. If it werent for ben saying something worse than monsters is on their way Id advocate for a story where the original monsters come for revenge for their fallen progeny.

Idk if any of you agree or if I am just speaking to myself.

I don’t know if she is original, because she wasn’t created by the original spell, but she was daggered by Rebekah and that worked on her, so I don’t know. How are the only ways she can die?

Based on what we've got, Hope inherited her vampire blood and "witch gene" from Klaus. And like him her blood can heal werewolf bites and sire new hybrids, and I know that all of the originals turned by the immortality spell or by drinking a magical serum (as in Lucien and Marcel's case). But Hope was born with vampire blood in her system, she is the first person to be born part vampire, so I'm guessing since she inherited her "powerful" witch powers and gene from her grandmother (and through her father obviously), is it possible that she also inherited his vampire strengh as well? Like we would probably just know that in the next episode but what are your thoughts on this at the moment? Do you think she will be an actual mini Klaus with the ability to use magic or is it a different scenario entirely??

I don’t know if this has ever been asked, and if it has it would’ve probably been an old question but I don’t remember any mentions of it anywhere.

As we know from The Originals S2 finale, white oak ash can kill the Originals if it remains in their body. So by that logic, people actually had a way of killing the Originals the entire time (“people” with the daggers and accompanying white oak ash, of course) right? I mean the ash Dahlia created was made from a white oak stake, which is what the daggers originally used with the silver daggers to put them to sleep.

The only thing I’m uncertain of is how that ash had to be used? Dahlia made Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah inhale it, so would it need to be inhaled and remain in their lungs to be lethal? Or could it be ingested through food, blood or other means? Would ingesting it kill them? Or just make them sick until it passes through their system? Would it even pass through their system.

As a Muse, could Cleo create a creature powerful enough to defeat anyone, or did her Muse powers have limits?

Yes, I know she needs to draw and if she uses too much power, she gets weak like an ordinary witch, but could she, for example, create a stronger creature than the Originals or the Malivore itself? You must say that if she could, she would have created it already, but forget about the script that there are several flaws, for a minute, and let me know what you think. sharing the same abilities as an original vampire he could compel anyone(except for another original by himself), cant be killed by a wooden stake, and can’t die from wolf venom. The spell used was the same one Esther used on her kids(but tweaked of course). So if the basis is the same but just better does that mean he can create a sire line of his own? Same goes for Lucien and Alaric-especially for Alaric since he went from human-enhanced original not vampire-upgraded original and yes I know Alaric wouldn’t have but the question is could he have

Marcel still being alive means that he can possibly turn people when he feels he needs to and be their sire

I have a question. In vampire diaries vampire souls could not survive in a human body. we saw this with the vampire Florence in Jo's body, and with stefan in the body of a man named Marty. However in originals vampires regularly inhabited human bodies. such as Finn in Vincent's body, Kol in Caleb's body, Rebekah in Eva's body, and many other circumstances. Why was it possible for vampires to inhabit human bodies in originals, but not in vampire diaires?

We know vampires can be turned into humans without the cure if a witch have enough power to do so(The Immortality Reversal spell) but my question falls into, does this spell prevent the person to turn back into vampires similar to what the cure does? and if it was possible once it turns back into vampire does it count as a young vampire or an old vampire?

For example lets per say Elijah or Klaus went through the spell and they were reverted back to human and then Freya performs the Vampire spell (The modfied immortality spell) would they count once more as "Old ones" or would they count as newly turned vampires? like would their strength go back to zero years instead of 1000 years worth of strength?

Since Hope has the blood of an Original in her veins, does that mean she can be neutralized by the White Oak Ash Daggers after becoming a full tribrid?

Or do they not work due to her werewolf side like with Klaus?

I think the question is pretty straight forward. The two instances that we have seen an variation of the Vampire Spell (I'm aware isn't called like that but is easier to make the distinction) it has always been around of the White Oak. Lucien created the Upgraded Original Vampire with a white oak bullet and Freya's blood, Esther made the Enhanced Original with the help of the white oak stake and Elena's Blood. So it seem it is always need the White Oak but humor me here, what if there was an Original Vampire who wasn't created with white oak? that would make Vervain and White Oak basically useless against it.

Idk i think it would make totally sense if something like that happened on Legacies or at least explained that is possible

In A Tale of Two Wolves, they made it seem like a White Oak stake was the only thing that could kill an Original. However, if they coated a regular stake with Marcel's Upgraded venom, could that have killed Klaus as well?
