Salvatore Boarding House

In the last episode Hope said that she wants to open a school of her own but for tribrids only, and this is clearly foreshadowing of her becoming the headmistress at the Salvatore School.

Also Aurora did a Ryan Clark/Vardemus move and she became temporary headmistress at the Salvatore School to get something she needs for her plan, similar with what Clark did in Season 2, so at the moment is clear that the only good headmaster is Alaric.

It's clear that Alaric (IDK why but he will be back) and Landon(Because he is Hope's soulmate and all of that) will return. Now what if after his near death experience, Alaric decides to quit the school(because he is useless now, and they could replace him with a character that brings something to the story). So if Alaric quits the school , knowing the school track record of headmasters he names Hope as the headmistress because he trusts her and she is immortal and all of that + she is perfect for the job.

In Season 2, Episode 17 (Know thy Enemy), none of the Originals are able to enter the Salvatore residence because they signed the deed over to Elena. However, in Season 3 (various), Rebekah, Elijah, and Klaus just seem to walk in whenever they please. Thoughts?

Right so just re watching the pilot episode and when Damon appears and they go out the window , they end up in the courtyard but the house shown isn’t the Boarding House it’s a cobble house and is much smaller —does anyone know what this place is, is it Zachs house or an outhouse or what ????

The main Salvatore boarding house appears in episode 2 so I’m confused

Hey all, I'm a fanfiction writer and I'm hoping someone, anyone might have answers to questions I have about the Salvatore Estate. I know Stefan and Damon were born and raised there and that Stefan takes Elena to the ruins of it during the early seasons of the show. I can't seem to find any information about how and when it came to be in ruins. I know the Boarding House was built in 1915. Did the Estate exist until then? Was it destroyed before then but after Stefan and Damon became vampires? I'd appreciate any help on this.
