The Hollow was sealed at some point by the ancestors after the formation of the ancestral plane, and many here even argue that (The Hollow) it was more powerful precisely because it existed before the formation of this dimension of spirits, and that to stop it they would need a great sacrifice, and As soon as she possesses Sofia, it is apparently somewhat implied that she feared being detained again by the ancestors, analyzing this whole situation, ancestral magic is dead magic because it comes from spirits, how could the Hollow be a threat to them?, if its power is from sacrifice, is only dangerous for the living, and ancestral magic is the magic of the dead, it's as if their magic was anti-sacrificial magic, is that the justification then? due to their power (Ancestor magic) being beyond her power (sacrificial magic)?

I was always under the impression that she was bound in the 1700s (when New Orleans and the Ancestral Plane was created). But what specific year/decade?

I remember she was not stopped by any spiritual plane, and even by the Ancestors, she continued to receive power from her sacrificial rituals, not to mention that she freely acted like an unrestrained spirit when her followers began making hundreds of sacrifices for her in their first centuries dead, Nature did not look for ways to stop her, and some users say she crossed the limits of Nature as being confined to a spiritual plane, and interfere and receive sacrificial power non-stop from various places, Nature Should have interfered in some way.

In 2x03, Esther had told Hayley her condolences about Hope, meaning she was still unaware Hope was actually alive and residing with Rebekah at the time (she did not found out until 2x08). However, in 1x22, Genevieve stated that the ancestors were “coming for her” because she failed to sacrifice Hope. If the Ancestors were aware Hope was still alive, then why did Esther, their leader at the time, not know as well? That doesn’t add up.

I was thinking, even though I knew it was impossible.

In the fourth season of Legacies, they could bring in a powerful villain like Dahlia or the ancestors. Yes, I know it is impossible because Dahlia is dead and has found peace (and she cannot resuscitate anyone who finds peace) and the Ancestors are now free. But let's pretend it was possible to bring them back.

The Ancestors would be an excellent villain because they had enough power to destroy more than one entire city, in addition, they were powerful enough to corrupt an original vampire and create the Beast without channeling any celestial event as Esther did or as Qetsiyah did.

Dahlia would be a good villain for being the firstborn and being extremely powerful, as well as being the only one capable of giving the training that Hope needs. It almost destroyed an entire city, which means that it will not be an easy element to fight.

Why would they be good villains?

Well, we could see the powers of Hope, Lizzie and Josie being fully explored, and it would explain the ancestral and ancestral magic of Dahlia and Esther's lineage. I think it would be a good one, especially that a large part of the fandom is complaining about this script and would bring something more "scary" and challenging - in addition, they could use Dahlia to explore the ripper side of MG.

Ok, I have a question regarding the other side. At the end of season 5 of TVD, the other side imploded, meaning there is no other side anymore. There was no "other side" for the supernatural anymore. So, can someone please explain to me how there is still the "other side" for the witches in NOLA? I get that they are consecrated into the earth and all that mess.....but it is still technically "the other side." So, I feel like that should of imploded as well. What am I missing guys?

I can’t get my head around this. In order for the ancestors to trap the hollow, they needed to sacrifice someone. In order to trap the hollow, Davina (as an Ancestor) tried to murder Klaus. I don’t know this answer. Someone help me 😂

How did Kai dodge Hope's magic? It has been stated that Hope's magic could fuel The Ancestors for centuries and Kai may be good as a siphoner but he is no first born witch.
