The Necromancer

Perhaps we will see sebastian and diego both at the same time dive through the malivore pit and i think sebastian would perhaps run off and tell lizzie about the location of the pit and who is behind it while diego would stay behind and help the necromancer, that would be epic

I want them to meet cause we recently had kai and necromancer meet which was an epic villian team up, i want that feeling again.

Plus its a good excuse to get the malivore knife seeing as how it got copied into the prison world because the necromancer was stupid enough to tell how he died the first time, or maybe not died but at least weakened. I dont remember if it was said the knife can actually kill the necromancer.

Because he lost kai and the zombie jogger as I call him, he only has chad to help his plans out. Plus he isnt at full power, i believe he can only bring humans back right now.

Im sure he will try to manipulate josie into working for him, that should be interesting, i dont think they have shared a scene yet.

But he is in mystic falls and its a town surrounded by many dead human bodies.

I will not list every single dead human character in mystic falls. And no I will not list stefan because he died at the end as a human.

But here are a couple of people he could bring back:

Tripp fell-he did become a vampire only to get turned back to human

Richard lockwood-he died an untriggered werewolf presumably so idk if he could be brought back

John gilbert-yes even he could be brought back

Maybe wes maxfield and his nephew aaron, idk if they are buried in mystic falls or not

I honestly cant think of lots of human characters who died right now but those are a few to start off with, if you have anymore, let me know. Im sure others would be added to the list eventually.

Any thoughts on his plans for “the dark witch” Josie?

Despite the vast amount of him we've gotten this season, does it strike anyone else as odd we still dont know the full extent of his plans? Like we can assume his endgame is to make some sort of immortal zombie monsters used from the malivore monsters, thus why he has collected the remains of the sphinx and pothos. But there are other mysteries. And yes im aware not every answer will be spelled out to the audience but the problem is then we get caught into this sticky confusing scenario. And even at times we do get answers and they turn out to be false, remember the whole myth of the sun and moon curse, what it turned out to be?

But yeah a few things still stick out to me:

We still dont know what he wants with the golden arrow, or wanted, i guess he found out about the prophecy and wanted to use it to his advantage, its a shame, i actually thought there is this magic power the arrow has

We dont know the full reason he made that jogger into a zombie, what the whole malivore symbol on his head symbolizes, maybe its to keep the jogger from harming any monster malivore sends, like its a thing of like okay we're on the same side

A mystery since the premiere believe it or not but the necromancer made a malivore symbol with fire in the graveyard, for what reasons we still dont know

And now he kidnapped rafael for another mysterious reason

Its too bad there is presumably no amount of cash they could use to get back ian and nina to this franchise, yeah their daughter stephanie salvatore is requested by fans and all but it would be interesting if elena and damon, especially damon found out the necromancer is using his brothers tomb as his headquarters, I feel damon meeting necromancer would be a bit epic, those two egos clashing, I mean we saw it with kai recently but damon is more hot headed than kai, not evil but just more prone to anger.

How come do you think he has only collected certain monsters for his plan? He so far has the sphinx and pothos but there are other monsters who remain intact i believe in their dead bodies and would be a waste to let them decompose

This guy is so mysterious. To take his own words, he can bend the univers to his will by controlling life and death like it was nothing... And I really don't think anyone can do that. He told that it took him centuries of practice to be this skilled in necromancy... Now Heretics and Hope are immortals witches who could practice for centuries too. Does that mean that one day, they'll be able to control life and death like the Necromancer ? We'll probably never know but I'm pretty sure they won't. He must have in him a special power over life & death.

He often refer himself as the master of the Underworld. In Greek Mythology, Hades was the God the Underworld, the place were all peoples went after their deaths. The Necromancer could be a Demi-God, son of Hades. Which would explain how he can so easily control life and death.

Pothos who was also a Greek God wanted that golden arrow that the Necromancer apparently know too. I'm pretty sure it's some artifact created long ago in the ancient Greece. ( that would explain why only Pothos and Necromancer know about it )

Maybe I'm going to far, but as I said, I'm really intrigued about this character. I hope that someday we'll have full backstory for him.

If you notice, there is a recurring trend where the malivore monsters turn into dust or steam meaning their bodies are next to impossible to bring back but the krampus i noticed is the only monster so far this season i believe to have his body intact after death.

So what they could do is have necromancer bring him back to wreak havoc as a krampus-zombie. Granted it would look and feel a bit off but i dont care, ill take it.

Like his plan is to kill hope i think but if he knows of klaus surely he knows of the others so how do you think he would handle himself from the wrath of the originals?

So since the beginning of Legacies a lot of people have been wanting to see Enhanced Original Alaric again. Honestly I'm one of them. I have an idea how his Enhanced Original powers can come back.

In episode The Departed when Rebekah killed Elena to kill Alaric, he died in his original body. In episode Home he was resurrected by Liv Parker through the Anchor to the Other Side Bonnie Bennett in the ‘new body’. We don't know if his original body was burned or not.

In Legacies the Necromancer was introduced. He can bring dead people back to life (when there isn't the Other Side anymore and the Ancestral Plane is now ghost-less). Maybe he will resurrect Alaric's original body and there are gonna be two Alarics: one human and the other one as Enhanced Original Vampire.

My second theory is since the Necromancer is powerful enough to bring dead people back to life maybe he has the power to bring lost powers back and he will make Alaric Enhanced Original again to use him against Hope (because Hope's grandmother Esther turned Alaric and Hope will be forced to reverse her grandmother's Immortality Spell on Alaric. Doing so will be too much for Hope and she'll die and return as full tribrid/ or non-original werewolf-vampire hybrid >if she will lose her witch side<).

At some point he's time as Enhanced Original Vampire has to retun.

What did you all think of when he said ryan is the true son of malivore? Maybe that is a plot hole line, i cant be suprised if it is but if it isnt, then does that imply landon isnt malivores son?

Because he is in the salvatore crypt as his base of operations, maybe he could bring back lily salvatore who is an old vampire and would be quite powerful a weapon. He could also bring back any other salvatore in that crypt, however i wouldnt count on stefan being one of them

The only problem is while this would be awesome to see and make sense, it doesnt make sense for the pov of the current characters, none of them exactly know these people except maybe alaric, idk how many salvatores he interacted with outside of damon and stefan.

Basically as the necromancer said, mystic falls is a huge place of magic so its pretty much his playground to use however he wants, there is alot of potential here rather than just summoning monsters over and over just to fail

How come the Kareem came out and not Clarke? Clarke’s body was laying there and the Necromancer referred to the Kareem as Son of Malivore. What happened to Clarke? I don’t think he’s dead, but I’m guessing he’s trapped back in Malivore again?

Can necromancer bring Stefan back (hypothetically)

I just realized that the face Silas was pretending to reveal to Bonnie as his true self looks just like the necromancers and sounds just like him too, I realized this rewatching the TVD episode “She’s Come Undone”.

It came to me that he is the only malivore monster who survived and technically he never really lost his connection to him. Malivore supposedly rewarded him by letting him out of the salvatore basement cell but we just assume necromancer found peace.

Basically what im saying is it wouldnt shock me if necromancer was still under malivores control and what he is doing now is just part of malivores plan.

Do you think they are working as equals or working for someone?

If its another person, Id like to think its either triad or one of the other malivore children. But what do you all think?

He can bring back some old characters, specifically old villians from the vampire diaries to serve him which would be awesome while letting them fullfill their own revenge agendas.

Im sticking with only dead characters right now in mystic falls, if he were to go to say new orleans to bring back people from there, its only cause the ones in mystic falls arent doing enough to help him.

We have 5 weeks to do nothing but speculate until legacies comes back so I figure I will try and attempt to answer some of these ongoing mysteries

Where is elijah?-this is not a mystery dealing with the current season but it was something overlooked last season when hope neglected to bring him up to the necromancer which maybe she will do it now that he is back but somehow i doubt it. So Im just going to assume for the time being he is with klaus or with hayley in their spirit forms. Hopefully he wasnt blasted out of existence or taken into another hell dimension cause that would be a disgrace.

Who killed the necromancer back in the day and how did they know to do it?-If I were to guess, a triad member killed him, perhaps even ryan but idk how they would have known how to kill him cause the necromancer was never killed before presumably. I would assume the man that killed him was given the info from the source of all knowledge, like how witches just happen to know spells they never did before

The identity of the 2nd red hood-im going with the following-maya, sheriff mac, sebastian, an old character, a new character or one of malivores children

Why can landon remember hope when he died-it was an ability given to him as a phoenix

Who is the new master of the spinx and krampus-you may think id pick the necromancer but I think he only holds command over the dead, I think the other red hood could be the new master

Questions pertaining to the merge-

Who cursed the gemini coven?, im going with the travellers, some witch or some creature. Maybe they cursed themselves

How do they know not completing the merge will kill them?-im going to say they probably died and were brought back or are merely going off someones word

How can the merge be stopped?-through a spell, seeking out another creature or maybe kai will siphon their powers and make them human thus breaking the magic link

I wont attempt to figure out the spinix riddle prophecy for certain reasons so i wont guess at the answers to that.

I also wont attempt to figure out where the real vardemus is at.

Ok let me start by saying this was my favorite episode. I don't what it was but this episode threw me for so many loops. First, let's talk about Ryan Clarke. He was great this episode. I loved the moments between him and Hope especially the final goodbye call. It was so sweet and strangely wholesome. It proved that he isn't completely evil and just wanted to be loved. I hate the Necromancer right now. He killed Clarke. If he doesn't resurrect him, I will be so pissed. I want him to find somebody to care for him maybe a boyfriend but that's just me. Secondly, I've said this many times but my son Pedro was in this episode and he was so sweet and adorable. Also, I hate Hope for ruining Santa for him. I just wanted to give him a hug. Also, did you see he was ready to fight Krampus? I've never been more proud of my son than at that moment. I mean I'm glad Josie stepped in for him but still he was ready to protect his family. Thirdly Krampus was creepy and gross. I loved it. I had hoped they would've gone with the old Bavarian version that punishes naughty kid instead of killing them but can't change it now. I loved it's character design. Fourthly, let's talk about Santa. He was a straight G in this episode. I also love that he has speed equal to if not superior to a vampire. He was able to throw some serious hands this episode. More versions of this Santa need to appear in TV. I will tell my child this is the real Santa. I wish we could of seen the reindeer but oh well. Fifthly, let's talk about Raf this episode. I'm so happy he decided to stick around a little longer to be with his dad instead of just going back with Landon. Also, Sebastian snapping Landon's neck was hilarious. Anyways I love that Raf got to learn about his parents especially that his mother was werewolf who was a soldier and that's how she turned. He put a pin in the unhealthy attachment to Landon for the time being and I was so happy for him. Finally, I will wrap up with Landon. He annoyed me this episode for two reasons. He pulled another long lost family reunion and he's lucky it worked better with Raf than with MG. Why does he keep doing this? I know he only knew Seylah for a short time but still. Next he breaks Josie's heart and just leaves her a crumpled mess. It doesn't help that I shipped Josie and don't really care for Handon. I was wishing to go back to Clarke instead of seeing that again. I want to take that back because of what happened to Ryan 🤯🤯😨😨. So overall my highlights were Ryan, my son Pedro, Krampus, Santa, and Rafael.
