The only reason why Tom and Elena would be the last in the petrova and Salvatore Doppelgänger bloodline is because Silas and amara died right so there would be no use for more?

So If Silas was supposed to be with Amara and Stefan was supposed to be with Katherine, does that mean Elena should’ve been with Tom? And who was Tatia supposed to be with??

So this just randomly occurred to me while playing a video game but if Tom Avery is a descendant of Stefan and Silas, would that make Tom a Salvatore? Or related to Damon at all?

Ok so we know that doppelgängers are supposed to end up together in their generation of them right? well that means if Elena had never met Stefan she could she have possibly ended up with Tom Avery if I’m correct. Thoughts?

Isn’t there technically supposed to be a Petrova doppelgänger in Stefans time (human Stefan time) and a Stefan doppelgänger in Katherines time e.t.c.?

Ok so you know how doppelgängers are supposed to be soulmates and there was that episode were Stefan and Elena were having dreams of a life were they were married and all that.
Ok what I don’t get is why is Stefan and Elena “soulmates” and not Tom and Elena cuz Tom and Elena are like the 21 century pairing of doppelgängers. So wouldn’t that make them “soulmates”.
I just don’t get if Stefan is Elena’s “soulmate” then who’s Tom’s “soulmate”?
Because I don’t think there were be another female doppelgänger for at least a century so what is it.
