Triad Industries

Many of you may not know this but a major issue I think needs to be resolved is presumably a malivore pit still exists and unless hope uses her blood to close it up, possibly other dangerous monsters and maybe malivore could come back through it. I dont know if they will settle that or not but I feel its one unresolved thread now that the gods, dark hope and triad are taken care of.

Is there a villain or villains in this 17 season franchise you want to see gain redemption that havent yet? Im going to give some options-

Kai

Aurora

Malivore

Silas

The majority of monsters

Triad

Im even going to say the necromancer cause technically ted is another personality of necromancer but isnt truly him

Any other villain who died evil, im not going to put katherine and I hope I dont have to explain why at this point.

Spoiler if you are not up to date:

Major question, how is it possible for Aurora to be the vampire that helped create Malivore? She wasn’t created yet. If malivore was around when Cleo was that small then Malivore should be well before Auroras time. So can the job get passed down? I thought it had to be the original witch, vampire, and werewolf. So is this just a plot hole? Or does someone know what I’m missing and can elaborate? My roommate and I are very confused. Please and thank you if you can!

What do you all want this new triad to bring to the table that previous vamps, wolves and witches havent brought in terms of personality and maybe powers. I only ask that you dont put in anything that contradicts past information.

Ok last 2 episodes we saw the therapy box wanting Cleo and Lizzie to kill Hope, also The Box never had a "sympathy" for Hope. So what if the box is actually alive and is wanting Hope to die like most of the witches from S1 and S2 of TO.

As for the Triad i think that voice over the phone is the fact a merge between the werewolf, the vampire and the witch that created Malivore and after being eaten up they merged into one tribrid. And this theory has in fact some backup evidence like last episode when Hope asked what she is, the reply was practically confirming that she is neither of those species, also that will make for the tree in Cleo's vision (not that I believe it will actually work because Cleo had it wrong in the second episode trying to put Malivore into Clarke and free Landon) to have the use to kill the Triad tribrid, not Hope.

Also at the moment I think we will get a Dark Lizzie soon on how things are going and she will ally herself with triad.

I have a theory I need to get out of my head. I think the person who is in charge of the Vampire faction is Aurora. Here's why. 1 she technically never died cause all Niklaus did was put her into a wall she may have been desiccated and someone may have found her. 2 the accent of the lady sounded all too familiar, like compared to her the similarities are easy to find. 3 she has a motive for wanting to kill Hope and she also may have the means, her and her brother (along with Lucien) were on the run. They grew from nothing to being successful business men/women so it wouldn't be hard to believe that she somehow made it to the top of Triad and became the leading member for the Vampire faction. Thanks for reading this long theory, tell me your thoughts too.

In the promo of the next episode at the end we hear a voice similar with Clarke and also we see a dead body and now with Hope being against Triad it would make sense to go after Clarke and maybe then Clarke meets Landon on the other side and helps him to return and finds peace

Now that malivore is dead what exactly do you think they even have intended for him giving the writers benefit of doubt. I mean he is human and who knows where his residence was while he worked at triad who knows if he can go back to that. Tbh I struggle to think of what they can do with him. I do think the idea of him being a supernatural again needs to come into play im not a fan of him as human and ill take him being a vampire over what he is now like he referenced to. If they ever found a way to explain malivores other failures which are clarke and landons siblings and rafaels stepsiblings I suppose that could be interesting to create some mikaelson type dynamic, problem is they would have to bring something to the table interesting cause the way clarke talked about them made them seem anything but. It be interesting I guess if he has a storyline intertwined with cleo cause both are the oldest beings I think in mystic falls left and maybe she goes to him to find her sisters killer. Some people might say he comes back to help destroy triad, problem is they are already destroyed, they disbanded and left behind all their work so unless they become supernaturals I dont see the reason for them to come back and I'd hate if he joined them and turned on hope after all the progress he has made to become good. But anyone have other ideas?

If they do come back what should they bring to the table this time they didnt the first time?

Ideas for me is they become supernatural themselves or bring in their own supernatural they made, each of which would be supernaturals that havent existed before so no vamp, wolf, witch, etc therefore its harder to kill. Maybe they even find a way to link their minds to the malivore creatures and control them like puppets making them more effective killers. Cause I think the stage is set for a return and it be pointless to have them come back as before.

I’m currently rewatching season one of legacies and I’m now realizing that they could’ve done something better with Triad Industries then just being the guards of malivore. Triad could’ve been an organization designed to kill supernaturals with weapons (stakes, wooden bullets, werewolf venom, poison designed to kill werewolves and witches that can’t be healed by magic). Triad could’ve been created by Landon’s ancestors, that could’ve been his connection instead of malivore. I don’t remember there has been a TVDU season where ignorant humans who hate supernaturals (besides vampire Hunters like Rayna Cruz). They could’ve done the whole Triad storyline without Malivore. If you any ideas how legacies could’ve been dealt better comment. 🧙🏽‍♀️

Certain names got dropped or hinted to in this show that have villian potential within them as well as current faces and they are:

The person that cursed the gemini coven

The person who killed cleos sisters

Mg and kalebs sires

Malivores children

The person who has prevented malivore from getting out and who sent necromancer back(they might not be a helping hand to the salvatore school as we think)

Triad again(what would they bring differently to the table this time)

Dark josie and dark alaric (what would they bring differently)

And then certain students- lizzie, ripper mg and flip switched tribrid hope

Im not going to put people who are somewhat on neutral like aurora or a past villian like katherine and kai, those are dead horses I no longer wish to entertain the idea of a return and I see no way a monster besides malivore would be a side villian cause that is the point of motw to make these monsters have their 1 episode of fame and onto another and so forth, its going to be vampires, werewolves, witches and humans as the villians if I had to guess to work alongside malivore.

So everyone who has watched Legacies will know that in the Season 1 finale Triad used a blood fountain to nullify the magic within the school, my question is; Why didn’t the magic keeping the Vampires alive unravel? Everything that has anything to do with magic stopped working except the magic keeping the vamps alive. So in theory they should have died like if they crossed the anti-magical border around Mystic Falls.

I havent heard people talk about this for a while but I have my own take on this and it probably will end up being someone sacrifices themself for someone they love and the destroyer part is a metaphor but it occurred to me what if this is referring to pothos and maybe his family? I mean maybe this is the worse threat to arrive cause I feel to have such a bold statement like that the villian at least has to have some power, like jack the ripper is worse than malivore but he could get slaughtered going against superhumans so the villian sphinx told about has to have power. And pothos and his family are all gods of love, cause I dont think they would just name drop that, I dont see why they would just have necromancer collect his corpse only for it to not be seen or mentioned again. And unlike malivores other kids, these gods of love actually have credibility as being threats, I mean you saw how tough it was to take down pothos, imagine a whole family of him and even if we do know their weaknesses doesnt mean its going to be easy taking on a whole family of them. Granted this has a certain level of randomness to it if they go this route and im not sure what makes them considered gods to all other supernaturals, if jp tries to say they are omnipotent then she is full of crap, pothos sure wasnt omnipotent and frankly i dont want omnipotent beings in this show. But this is what I think that line could refer to and it be an interesting twist and I'd wonder if malivore and necromancer get involved or just leave it alone.

I really really really hope it aint triad as the worse threat cause yeah they are worse than malivore but unless they bring something new to the table they didnt last time then I dont care to see them again and I will find myself skipping scenes and I dont think legacies wants pseudo viewers tuning in, I really dont. Cause you dont have to believe me but that got rod rowland on some site is said to come back as burr and im like oh hell no, maybe as an independent supernatural hunter okay but dont bring triad with.

But what do you think about my theory?, could they go this clever route or the lazy route

If Triad Industries deals with hunting down dangerous supernaturals, why didn't they interfere when the Heretics took over Mystic Falls?

Does anyone else think a missed opportunity with them is they never found wes maxfields research and finished up on it? Wes died in season 5 of tvd and left his research behind and if triad found a way to create the augustine ripper to finish off the vampires and maybe modify to work on the werewolves and witches too.

Cause as told by clarke, they were trying to weaponize the malivore fluid to kill all supernaturals and I would think they'd know of wes and augustine to help speed up their work, I still find it bizzare they just packed up and left after malivore left.

I would have thought they'd contact all the vampire hunters tbh-the council, rayna, the five, maybe even mikael to help them out considering they are the oldest group of supernatural hunters

Imo a major reason why legacies cant have a multiple season show beyond the malivore plan is the whole idea of villians coming from other places on earth. Think about it, the salvatore school has been open in the timeline of the franchise for maybe a decade, there has been plenty of opportunities for villians to seek out the school for their own personal gain, alaric put out a beacon of sorts for supernaturals and anyone who hates them. So why would certain villians from all over the planet just finally show up unless they just happened to find out about the school but that is unlikely unless they are a hermit just finding out about the internet. It works with triad cause they were always around but they were based around malivore, they are no longer based around them, plus there is the chance they will return. But imo not every villian should be released from some ancient tomb, it gets boring after a while and predictable in a bad way so i dont think they can play off that trope for 10 seasons or however jp thinks legacies will air.

I realized they have a weapon to kill him apart from throwing him into malivore so he can swallow him again but there is also just using malivore bullets like triad used, one of which almost killed josie. I honestly dont understand the logic in how a slimy malivore bullet can kill supernaturals but malivore himself as a puddle cant kill the supernaturals.

Cause ive given up hope on the malivore knife coming back into play, plus it was never said that killed him, necromancer said it did but i think he got things mixed up. The man stabbed necromancer and threw him into malivore if that is what the necromancer defines as being killed.

After giving it some thought, i dont quite get why either triad or necromancer doesnt just recreate malivore and get an update to him. Its not like a complex spell like creating the original vampires, it was getting a vampire, wolf and witch, three magic objects, some mud to form into a golem, thats it.
