I just use the internet explorer that came on my lap top, and I can see it just fine.
Pretty sure that the 'sydication' rule, doesn't apply to CW shows, I mean there has to be a market for the shows, even TVD hasn't been syndicated. tvbythenumbers has received a lot of flack for the way it looks at CW shows in their cancelation review, so I actually would shy away from using it as a reputable source.
Well she is obviously sexually attracted to both woman and men, so I would say yes. She might prefer men, but obviously doesn't mind a woman either.
Hybridd are you trying to be ironic? I cant tell if you are serious or not? Because repeating the same opinions coached as fact, which are clearly bias twisted canon, still doesn't negate the facts; saying the same thing over and over will not somehow 'magically' make it the truth.
Again I state that; "There are no CANON examples of Elijah having a pattern of pursuing the woman that Klaus is ROMANTICALLY interested in."
Hybrid who do you ship other then Steroline, I just notice that you are very very pro Klayley on another thread (even posting a link to Klayley propaganda), so is the whole "Klaroline isn't popular no more." statement more one of wishfull thinking, because it is certainly not in anyway a statement of fact. Klaroline are still frequently trending worldwide on twitter (sometimes for days and days in a row), and tumblr seems to be experiencing a Klaroline renaissance (going by the ever increasing amout of Klaroline centric blogs and the likes on posts), as is the FF site, with over 5000 fics in total, and a rather prolific amount posted daily. So all signs that I can see point at this fandom actually surging ahead, which is amazing considering the lack of new scenes between the pair.
OriginalMikaelsons- I am just using the terminology that particular fandom uses frequently on this site to describe their ship. Do I agree? My god no, not in anyway. And I agree with you that couples are not written in these shows for longevity, but my point is that questions like this always bring out shippers who are so prolific and virulent with their opinion that Klaroline is dead and can often be found telling people to 'move on' and to stop shipping, and it makes me question; why, if the pairing is so dead (in their opinion) does it bother them so much that its still so very popular?
^ You have provided opinion coached as fact, these are your interpretations on Canon interactions, not solid facts. Every single canon reference that you provided as 'proof' of Elijah going after Hayley despite Klaus's obvious (In your opinion) feelings for her, I don't see that way at all, telling someone that you are similar, or touching your unborn baby, does not equate a 'secret thing'. Inferring that Klaus backed off from Katherine because he didn't want to come to blows with Elijah over a Doppelganger again and was just ceding romantically to Elijah is just hearsay, I would think judging from canon, Klaus thought of Katherine as merely a 'means to an end', so there were no toes to tread on there. The 'liquor filled one night stand' comment being merely to throw the witches off? That's not what I see in canon. In canon I see a Klaus that has come to care for Hayley as the mother of his child, I see a Klaus that is actually ok with his brother pursuing Hayley, as long as his fatherly toes don't get stepped on. So again, my point is that in canon there is no pattern of Elijah pursuing the woman that his brother has established romantic feelings for.
I understand that some people ship something that Haylijah gets in the way of, but rather then long spiels of canon butchered and twisted into something almost unrecognisable, and hating on Elijah, I would have far more respect for fans who own up to it, and say, "yeah this pairing doesn't work for me, the chemistry is just not there for me- I prefer something else" that's something I understand.
I think that he looks at least late 30's, but think that the character is supposed to be much younger.
I wouldn't mind Lucy, but I found Abby boring and April freaky in a "I am smiling whilst hiding a massive carving knife behind my back" kinda way.
^"Elijah always tends to fall for girls in whom Klaus is interested" Who are you referring to? As I previously stated, we don't know what happened 1000+ years ago with Tatia, Klaus was using and not romantically interested in Katherine, and Klaus told Elijah that Hayley was just a liquor filled one night stand and to kill her, so who- that Klaus has shown canon romantic feelings for has Elijah pursued?
I have seen the 'he needs to stop going after his brothers girls' quite a few times from certain shippers, but I fail to see a pattern, we never really knew exactly what happened between Elijah/Tatia/Klaus-1000+ years ago, Elijah fell in love with Katerina while Klaus had no interest romantically in her, and Klaus called Hayley a liquor filled one night stand, and said to kill her- so obviously no feelings lost there, so what woman, that Klaus had/has established canon romantic feelings for has Elijah pursued?
I don't like Hayley, so am not a fan of Haylijah, however; I do feel that it is in no way forced because they have slowly established it over a whole season, so the whole 'its forced' thing confuses me.
At this point I think his love interest has to be Hayley, because he is obviously in love with her, and she returns his feelings, indeed in the beginning she was the instigator, so if they now went off on a different romantic tangent for either, it would be weird that they spent a whole season building it up just to introduce others.
I find it amusing how hard it seems to bother others that people are still shipping away with Klaroline. A question like this always brings the other shippers out to state their opinions; rife with bias parading as fact. Klaroline is as popular as ever, after almost a whole season apart, and here we are still more popular then any other Klaus/Caroline pairings.
But the question is perhaps, if everyone is so certain that Klayley are soulmates, or the Klamille and Steroline are about to become canon, and they love to orate about the fact that they believe Klaroline is over, if they believe the above to be the gospel truth- then why are they so invested and caught up in the fact that the Klaroline fandom continues to thrive?
Give up. That seems to be a theme to some OP's lately, that I should give up shipping something that I love and enjoy, because they think that I should? Why on earth do they care? Why are they so concerned about what I am shipping, if they are so certain that its hopeless? Are there perhaps their own shipping motivations that make them invested in trying to get people to stop shipping Klaroline?
I see so many comments, that skew the truth on what has been said by cast and crew, and state it as fact, all in an effort to present their opinion as truth. I have seen other fandoms purporting that Klaroliners are leaving the fandom in droves to join their ship, this has been said for months now. I have even had the miss-fortune to see some of the same shippers pretend to be disillusioned Klaroliners on other pairings pages, bad mouthing my fandom- comment history is a great tool for weeding out the fake.
I love Klaroline. I have so much fun shipping them. We still trend multi times per week on twitter. We have over 5000 fanfictions on just the FF site. We have a dedicated online magazine. We are still winning polls. The Klaroline tumblr tag is busier then ever, with comments on the posts often numbering in the thousands. The comments on the Klaroline page of this wikia are well over 100,000. The Klaroline fandom is actually surging ahead, more prolific, creative and fun then ever before; so why on earth would I "give up hope"?
Writers and cast have always qualified their comments about Klaroline closure with 'for now', type comments, Candice even said that who know what could happen in coming seasons, that Caroline might make a road trip to NOLA. So is Klaroline happening in the immediate future? No. But have the cast and crew left the door open? Yes.
So why exactly am I supposed to give up on a fun flourishing fandom again? Because it makes some other shippers uncomfortable? I am not running around telling Klayley fans to give up, because Haylijah seems to be the future, nor am I telling Delenas to switch to Stelena, because Damon is dead.
Body switch like they did in Lost Girl, a spell gone awry and suddenly Damon is in Sheriff Forbes body, April young in Damon etc.
Wow, just reading through some of the comments on here, and am quite frankly disgusted. Its like a super bitchy high school clique here. I am sure there will be a rush of people defending or trying to excuse the hateful malice that has been written. Perhaps the people commenting after this can try to keep it civil, intelligent and classy? Its actually acceptable, some might even say desirable to love on your ship without descending into nasty ranting about others that some above have fallen into.
Here is the actual Julie Plec interview, she doesn't actually say if Jackson is only slicking around for a few weeks, she just mentions that it will be a couple of weeks until he is man not wolf again, so its still anyone's game. But I would guess they will use Jackson as a tool to incite Elijah's possessiveness and move Haylijah along, but who knows?
"It's a full moon in this particular episode, and there won't be another full moon for a few more episodes, so this is our first taste of the crescent wolves," Plec says. "With luck and schedules and all those things in our favor, we'll be able to have a nice good story with them."
Elijah? Not so crazy about the idea of Hayley breaking the werewolf curse if it means Jackson sticking around.
"I don't think he's going to be very happy about it. Like I said, we've got another few episodes before we return to the werewolf world, but just this idea of her attention falling towards these people and her sense of family unity and family bond drawing her towards them and away from the Originals is a lot for Elijah to handle," Plec explains. "And then once, ultimately, if he's ever able to stand face to face with Jackson, he might be like, ‘Wait a second, who's this guy? I'm not so sure I like this guy.'"
I actually don't want her in NOLA at the moment, season two of TO, yeah sure, but right now, I want her to have some plot development. I want her to get some experience in using her new skills, I want her to explore her kick arse vampire side, she NEEDS to learn to see the world in shades of grey, and not just black and white before she can consider being 'Klaus ready'. And TO has some plot lines, like the mystical miracle baby that need to progress before Caroline would fit in.
So sure I defiantly want Klaroline, but I want it done well.
^Pretty sure Jeremy was burnt to a crisp, and he's walking around now.
