Seasons 3 and 4 had the best finales by far, in my opinion.

Anything living - e.g. witches, wolves and, of course, humans.

@Jillsent - the white oak stake would have killed Lucien.

Imagine the times that would have been handy - looking at how to stop Lucien, for example. In season 3, also, why did Vincent not see the white oak stake in 3x13 where he is being forced to look? It has caused so many plot-holes and I don't appreciate that. A more plausible ending would have had Klaus drinking Marcel's venom which he received from St Anne's Church or something like that.

I believe that Elijah is innocent, E is not, and Hope should hold the majority of the blame, especially since E is now gone.

Freya closes doors immediately after he leaves the room in the following scene, which would be a needless addition to a scene if not to be symbolic for Antoinette being out of the picture (closing the doors on that chapter, as it were). Maybe reading too deep but I believe this was intentional.

Ohhh I see your point, sorry! I thought you were saying Klaus' and Marcel's strengths were similar!

I truly don't know, when you're a vampire the older the better, but both have only been the Beast for a short amount of time... I guess it depends if the age of the vampire matters before turning. For example, if a human was turned, would they be considerably weaker?

I think that's just strain - picture when you arm-wrestle someone much stronger, you can shift them a little but it doesn't mean you are similar in strength (maybe a bad analogy) - and then picture Lucien being that angry too and using both hands would show a whole new level of strength. However, I agree that it certainly wouldn't be like Klaus was a fly he could just swat.

And he definitely shouldn't be, he could certainly end the Mikaelsons and more. That feat with Tunde's blade was incredible!

@SGP1005, you just proven my point though in that 'he beat them immidietely' - also, as stated, in 4x02, they would have simply broke Marcel's neck instead of what actually happened.

@Sean 175, I think you need to rewatch the scene in 3x18 (not in a harsh way) - you will actually see that Lucien is using one hand against Klaus and still overpowering him, while shushing him and condescending him, this being even as Klaus is fighting for his brother's life.

I do agree that Marcel is being hugely underestimated - he is a being that can kill the entire Mikaelson family, and it is clear that in 4x05 he was trying to subdue Klaus, not kill him, and when you are using non-lethal force you're bound to take more hits against someone actively trying to kill you.

They both have different disciplines and areas they are stronger at. Overall, I would say that if Freya were truly angry and out of control as we see in Season 2, she would overcome Vincent. I think she has much more raw power.

A counter-argument is that we see Vincent knock Freya unconscious in 3x16, yet he was under the control of the ancestors' power and she was also not expecting it. In a straight fight, Freya would most likely win.

When Klaus seen that Marcel had bitten Kol in 3x22, he and Elijah (I believe) gave it their all, and Marcel handled them both with relative ease. Further, he stated in 4x02 that he could kill each and every one of the Mikaelsons if he wanted to. The reason I believe this is true is because otherwise the Mikaelsons would have attacked him, instead. He has been shown to be faster and stronger, and could only be beaten by Enhanced Alaric and Lucien, both of whom we see dispatch enemies quicker and easier.

@Sean 175, Mikael would have attacked Klaus if he believed himself capable, even if he wouldn't go down easy. His hatred for Klaus outweighs his care to avoid pain. Also, Lucien's capabilities have been shown to far outweigh Marcel's, maybe not in feats but the ease with which he accomplished them. (As a sidenote, how AMAZING would it have been had Lucien knew he could compel original vampires!).

@SGP1005, I agree with everything other than the fact that the Originals could take down Lucien. Lucien bested Klaus with ease, not even having a punch landing on him. His other feats have included tackling 20 ancient vampires at once including Elijah and laughingly besting Finn and Elijah. Even Marcel took down Kol, Elijah and Klaus simultaneously.

The combined Mikaelson clan would be slaughtered.

I would imagine that they would return, yes. Only in instances such as the Serum, however, and not simply a human becoming a vampire.

Klaus ended up being more powerful when he didn't let mis fear of Mikael get the better of him. Proof in 2x18, 'if you truly thought me weak you would snatch this stake from my hands. But you don't, because you know better'.
