I strongly believe that witch-vampire hybrids would have the ability to compel other vampires due to the fact that we see Marcel compel Elijah with the aid of Vincent casting a spell to open his mind. Lizzie was able to completely knock out the god Ben with just siphoning in a matter of seconds, so I feel like witch-vampire hybrids can just siphon other vampires along or even adding a mind weakening spell and they should be able to easily compel them.

@King327 While I do agree with you that they do need to siphon other sources the vampire magic seeping through their veins is extremely powerful and it gets stronger the more they feed. These people have killed 10's of thousands of people for fun and as Valerie tulle stated, Julian realized how extremely powerful Valerie had become and hunted every last remaining siphoner and had them turned into witch-vampire hybrids. I don't believe the magic that seeps through vampire veins is much different than any other type tho probably just augmented due to black magic. Witch-vampire hybrids would've been extremely op if they had preferred to go for subduing and more siphoning. The witch-vampire hybrids imo are above Vincent. Even Lexi was able to easily get into a vampires head and make Stefan think he was desiccating. I think the odds are slightly in their favor.

I feel like the answer simply is that no one has ever tried but for the sake of the plot lets just say its cuz he's an original.
As long as a witch has a talisman still on the earth they are freely allowed to use magic. I'm sure many witches were simply just unaware of the fact and Esther and qetsiyah were both aware being the smartest witches.
I would agree with that but like when he did it to hope the compulsion sound was heard as well but it clearly didn't work so I'm a little puzzled
Wait wait waittttt I seriously cannot tell if Hope compelled that man or not- When a vampire compels someone else their pupils enlarge but this guy's eyes did nothing and stood the same this thing is really confusing me lol. Idk if he just didn't leave out of pure fear or the fact that she actually compelled him. But Hope seems to think she can compel vampires so I guess she might have the power but I really wanna see her compel someone to sleep for confirmation tbh
Nah that bartender was lying pretending to be compelled you could tell. But no I didn't watch this week's episode yet but I've started it just waiting for me to get a free hour to spare and I'll finish it up but I'm actually so excited to see ben and jed and lizzie and hope this season has been doing so good

Hope forced them all to tell her where the vampire was and they all ended up exploding so she was temporarily an alpha for the pack for like 3 minutes lol. They all died
