Curious if your favorite TVD seasons changed between rewatches, over the years, or as you watched Legacies?

Woah that's amazing, I wish(?maybe) that I could be you, but I think I'll die before I finish it because I can't bear for it to be "over" 😭 Still haven't even finished TVD but have rewatched a lot.

I can try and answer some questions?

I don't think everybody hates Tyler. I like him, but think that his character is held back by the way he treated Vicky in early season 1. It's the only gripe I have with him, other than that one out of place scene, he's great. I think that some hate for him comes from people who love Klaus. (Like they think that he's evil or something because they idolize Klaus so much?) That's a piece of it, I think. I haven't seen too much excessive hate for him though, it might just be the places you're in.

I dislike S7/8 / have not watched those seasons because I really, really, really, love Elena. A massive part of the draw of the show for me is honestly the love triangle (and just Elena's relationships in general, her brother, Stefan, Damon, her friends, her enemies, etc). I think to an extent that's true for a lot of people, as they were drawn to the love triangle type dynamic. I'll watch the seasons one day, it's just sad to me that Elena is what? In a box? :(

Matt is really funny to me because I never hated him, he was just there. Then I joined the fandom and was like woahhh y'all hate him here? interesting lol. I think the writers didn't know what to do with his character, honestly. He could have been better.

I HATE the ending of TVD. Like it's so unreasonable, especially with the direction Legacies seems to have gone. Like Damon and Elena wouldn't be killed instantly? They would just not care what happened to their friends and family in Legacies? Never, that would never happen. It's just a weird plot inconsistency, nothing that can really be explained using canon, I don't think. But then again, I haven't seen Legacies so I don't know the full extent of it.

Haven't seen the bell plot yet, so I can't speculate/answer those, or the rest of the questions.

Do you think I should watch Legacies? I feel like it does TO and TVD dirty 😭

No humanity Stefan was hilarious, and I loved no humanity Elena. Morality wise? Stefan was probably worst, then Damon, then Elena, then Caroline.
