So this is my first time watching tvd and I’m at the part where Alaric erases Elenas memories of Damon and then becomes human so she can’t get them back and Elena is a vampire so she can’t be compelled by anyone but an original vampire if Alaric isn’t the only original why haven’t they considered getting in contact with one the others to compel Elena to remember even though Alaric compelled her would it make a difference to have someone else restore her memories

I’m intrigued but also a bit wary of the introduction of a new character and i was thinking the whole thing with her sisters is a bit shady and possibly she is not just a witch but another member of the supernatural community for a sec I though the muses from Greek mythology but turns out her name is spelled differently
I feel like that would interesting but it wouldn’t work because both those things specifically target hope or the witches and the characters in legacies are diverse members of the supernatural community not to mention it would most likely require appearances for familiar characters from the originals which is something they most likely don’t desire to do
Yeah hopes become selfish in her obsession of getting Landon back even though she knows it could result in the other people she cares about dead she needs to get her priorities straight and understand that even Landon himself wouldn’t want to see her like this acting so irrationally only thing I don’t agree with is saying it’s very mikaelson of her because I know the mikaelsons get a bad rep but through the originals we see that the core of the mikaelsons is family and love always and forever
