Actually, It was revealed that actually most of Stefan's feelings towards Katherine were compulsion since she loved him more than 1. he loved him back and 2. more than she loved Damon! Also, sire bonds are not necessarily based on human feelings. For example, Klaus' hybrids were sired to him. Unfortunately I do not know how to answer your actual question though:(
